  1. Not that you care much I love your passion and happen to totally agree with what you say this time.
  2. Your thumbnail is weird.
  3. The only cold shoulders around here are the ones you may be invited to warm
  4. I don't think I understood a word of that... well maybe I understood the words but not the way they were put together
  5. YAY you made it into the forum. Glad to see you here. Welcome I found it very confusing to start with. The key is to not want to do everything at once. Experiment with things before you actually need them so there's no pressure. Play with it and have a good time.
  6. Well I can't top Lacey naked... well I could but... well... you know... it is YOUR birthday after all. Happy Birthday Skyline
  7. Okay I have to ask... where the heck are you? You look like you're in a dumpster with a tyre round your neck. Have you started a skip selling business... or is it you that's for sale? I'd buy you hun... you could sit on my altar and play with my athame.
  8. DON'T even go there. You find me a sparkly vampire and I'll spit in his eye. Grrrrr. As for Lacey... he can bite my neck any day and I won't even bite back unless he really wants me to Oh and don't cut your hair... it's awesome. Absolutely not. Cute cute cute
  9. I think what you are saying that it's hard to find the profile of a writer from efic. I have found that really hard especialy when their name on efic is different than on the forum. The ways described above can only be done from the forum and not efic (as far as I know) I have done exactly the same thing as you have going round and round on efic. At the time the writer I was looking for wasn't even a member of the forum and it drove me nuts. I don't know if there's an answer to that dilemma.
  10. I love the idea of male and female nymphs... I want one some of each I LOVE the thunderbird and the kitsune is sexy. BUT not as sexy as incubi and succubi... I recknon I could handle one of each... maybe not at the same time.... as the nymphs Like I said I like the kitsune. I like werewolves and it is just a complete myth that vampires and werewolves don't get all... we all need pets I'll still bite you if you like. I'm sure I could turn you into something
  11. Well.... if you are asking if it's a word I would say that it is. It is commonly understood by most people. It has a defined meaning and is in common usage. If you are asking if it is a recognised word then no. It is accepted by academics that the definitive work for the English Language is the Oxford English Dictionary. And 'outed' isn't in there.
  12. Welcome to GA. I like what you have posted so far and hope you post more soon. Looking forward to getting to know you... and for the dirty minds on GA that just means socially At least to begin with
  13. I said recently that I have not really written fantasy... but that really isn't true. Quite a few of my stories include at least an element of fantasy. The Game for example is completely... out there... but you don't know it until you are deep into the story. To Have and To Hold is a vampire story but it takes place is a very normal setting and the vampires live very much as normal people do... okay the City of the Angels is a little 'out there' too but hey... I have two completely forages into the realms of fantasy... Red Gold which is a straight story I probably won't post here... and Hostage which is in the beta'/editing stage which you will get to read eventually. Even in those I keep things rooted in 'normal' perameters with only occasional forrays into the outlands. I suppose what I am trying to say is that, for me... the real fantasy, the real strangeness lies in the comparison of small things that weave loosely within the framework we know. It is difficult to describe a world that is so compeltely different to our own that it's almost unimaginable and to do that I would think would require careful notes and a good memory. However if the framework lies within the realms of normal understanding but at a different level... such as the vampires in GFD with their own rules, their own society but living in our world... kind of... the frame of reference is there and we only have to point out the differences. I think as well that the fantasy elements can be more effective when taking place within a known frame of reference. It is not so difficult for the reader to imagine, does not require so much detailed description and can just come out naturally as throw aways in the story text itself, and it doesn't require people to remember the rules. But thats just the way I write. I don't plan and make notes and keep detailed records of my character etc. It usually works out into a cohesive story as I follow my characters and just go with them painting their surroundings as I go along. Of all my stories Hostage is the most 'fantastic' and I can't say that I found it difficult to describe the 'rules' because I was clear about what they are and hang them on my own frame of reference. After you've read it you can comment on what that says about me
  14. HAPPY BIRTHDAY
  15. Of course I love it when people leave a review. What writer doesn't, and I make an absolute point of responding to each and every one of them. There was a reader once who revieved every chapter with thoughtful criticism and I would like to bow and lick his/her feet. It is so exciting to check and find that someone has reviewed a story or make a comment in the discussion thread. On the other hand I fully apprecaite that the majorit of readers don't leave a review and I don't think that they should be expected to. Reading is for the pleasure or the reader and not to stroke the egos of the authors... although I am all for a nice long slow stroke whenever I can get one.
  16. Help yourself hun. The more chocolate that goes in your stomach the less goes on my hips
  17. He's got a thing about woods doesn't he?
  18. Happy Estra. Another festival stolen... erm adapted... erm shared by Christians. It's all about reincarnation and rebirth after death... hence the eggs which are an ancient symbol of new life and rebirth. The rabbit, or hare is a symbol of regeneration and new life. So yeah.... go forth, eat chocolate and celebrate new growth and rebirth... or something
  19. As someone who never, ever had anyone read their stories who has gone from nothing to 60 in a millisecond I want to thank every single one of you who has read my stories. A special thank you to everyone who has left a review or commented in a discussion thread. Without you I wouldn't even have written the stories let alone posted them. Most of all I would like to thank Cia who alpha beta and omega reads my stories at the speed of light. This girl literally sucks in a story and has support, suggestions, guidance and enthusiasm on tap at all times... awesome. And, of course, the inimitable Rush... my girlfirend, fiancee and who now owes me three kisses. She edits, she supports and most of all she's there for my ranting, indecision and insecurity. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you
  20. Why not just start going out socially, doing things you'll know YOU enjoy without the pressure of LOOKING for someone. You are not going to attract the right kind of guy if you put yourself into social situations that you find awkward or uncomfortable. Go to the cinema, opera, museum, art gallery... whatever you like. Get some of your friends together and do anything you enjoy. Have a dinner party, go out to KFC... absolutely anything that gets you back into the swing of enjoying yourself and relaxing around other people. Forget about 'hunting'. Forget about whether you are in the closet or out of it. Just relax and enjoy. When you are comfortable in social settings and you have made friends and acquaintances from the places you go... most importantly when you are relaxed in the surrounding you are in you will be far more attractive to anyone who's intersted. I would suggest you get yourself a rainbow pin, something unobtrusive. Your straight friends won't know what it means but any gay guy who is intersted in you will get the subtle message. Most importatly go enjoy life and take your mind of this
  21. As with my sexuality I swing both ways
  22. Tomas... you were so adorable. Now post a new one in the photo thread so we can see how much you've changed
  23. *Runs fast and jumps on LUGH* HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIRTHDAY HUGGLES AND SNUGGLES JUST FOR YOU
  24. Hehe.. well said. Welcome Gabe. As an obsessive commenter ( some might say a nosy bitch who can't keep her mouth shut... those are the ones with bite marks) I am sure I will be commenting on your stories very soon. As for being gentle... well I'm always gentle...
