I'm sorry, I must be musically challenged but I can't see it at all. The Men at Work song is so compltely different. The sound is not in any way similar and... okay there is a flavour IF you know what you're looking for but I would be very surprised if they stole the riff or even knew it was from that song. There are lots of riffs in lots of songs which sound a bit like or very much like riffs in other songs. I always believed that if you take someone else's creation and drastically rework it usuing your skill then there is no action available. The example we were given in Law School was the Constable Painting that was used 1. on a chocolate box lid and 2. in a cross stitch. The chocolate box company was in breach because they simply reproduced it but the cross stitcher wasn't because she had radially adapted it and used her own skills in reworking it. I would suggest that this is what happened here and if this case were brought in the UK it would fail

Okay.... I wasn't sure about this programme... until my son got majorly into it. Now I am a complete addict. I have to say that my favourite character isn't on your list. he only appeared in a couple of episodes but I think Menma is totally awesome and I cried when he died. I actually learned to play Sadness and Sorrow on the Ocarina because of him... I mean i had never heard ot an Ocarina before. I think Kakashi is hot as hell and the episodes when he was young and in Minola's team with Obito Uchiha were totally fab. Efan made me paint a picture with him of the group and it was real fun. I also love Shikamaru because he has totally awesome skills but is so... I'm so bored... it's such a draaaag. Awesome It's been expensive for me though because we have more Naruto crap in my house than anything else... except perhaps Yu Gi Oh cards.

I think i would be hypocritical if I complain too much about how distrubing that chapter was... given some of mine. And I don't want anyone to get the wrong impressions about...'disturbing' chapters. As Riley said real life can be disturbing. And although we have to balance gritty reality against readability it is necessary to put it in there sometimes. I know I do. There are disturbing scenes in all my stories I think and I always feel... although others might not agree... that they are absolutely necessary to throw a light on a particular part of the plot, usually the things that come after. I am assuming that is the case here... although it was quite long and detailed As far as schooling is concerned I remain against single sex education for the reasons already stated. To improve my son's chance of academic success I will choose a good school, support his education at home and, if necessary obtain him additional help. To improve my son's chance of becoming a well rounded and sociable man I will make sure he mingles with girls and boys on a daily basis so that he will learn, as he grows, to deal with both. I wonder if there has ever been a study with regard to long term effects of single sex and opposed to mixed sex classes... for example comparing such things as successful relationships (or otherwise) , incidences of depression/suicide, sexual problems, mental health issues blah blah blah.

I wouldn't ever consider sending my son to an all boy's school. IMHO it's unbalanced. The arguement for single sex schools is that it prevents distractions. I think this is bushwah. For me shool is just as much about learning to interact and handle social situations as it is about book learning. How can you learn to interact in society if you are only exposed (not like that you perve) to half of it?

I would point to It Started With Brian. It worked very well when AdamP finished the story for Sam. In fact it was very touching. So I will vote for your first option. Get the discussion thread for the stories up and put an explaination in there. Bottom line though... whatever you decide is the right thing for you and it will just be so awesome to see the stories finished.

I so agree with that. As for being creepy where do I start? I talk to dead people and have a prehistoric cave bear living in my spare room.... hmmm wrong kind of creepy? Well... um.... no.

I follow the general trend. I think both puppies and kittens are adorable but as a die in the wool cat person I have to give kittens the edge. Although Hoskins makes a good point... generally there's more meat on a puppy

I have to be honest... there are a lot of foods that I think are nasty and would rather not eat but if it came down to my life then I would eat pretty much anything.
