If I'm just randomly browsing for stories from authors I do not know, then I'll start reading their story if I like the description. Catch my attention with the description and I'll probably read it. If not, then I probably won't read it unless somebody recommends it. If I like the author, then I'll read all their other stories as they publish them.

P001. It looks simple but still pretty. Why are you picking the dress though? Aren't people supposed to have that "this is the one" moment before the pick something?

I probably shouldn't be reading your replies to reviews because it makes me come up with more theories as to what will happen next. Jacob and Ho-o is being held captive by Lord Raezhul and he wants to control Ho-o or something, right? Then Adam will somehow save Jacob and stop Lord Raezhul by using the demon blade. However, for whatever reason, I keep thinking that Victor and Lord Raezhul aren't that bad. Maybe I'm reading too much into it. Anyway, finish Charlie, write one short story, and then start the sequel!

Better only one of them die than both I guess but that doesn't really seem much of an upside. I didn't really fully trust Jacob until the very end but still didn't want him to die. Couldn't they hold hands and combine their powers that way? Also, it felt like a Harry Potter scene when Adam asked Jacob if what was in his mind was real. I could hear Dumbledore say, "Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean it is not real?"

Jacob asks quite a few questions there. I'm not quite sure if it's because he is curious or because he is planning something.

So George + Rick = Jorik? I laughed my butt off with that one and it shouldn't even be that funny. lol This is really interesting so far. I already have tons of theories as to how the voice and Jacob fit.

It depends on how quickly you catch my attention. If I like the story after the first few paragraphs, I'll be focused throughout and I can stay up to 3 or 4 am just reading. I make theories on how things play out. If the characters have some sort of argument that is interesting, I replay it in my mind and try to but in. If nothing catches my attention after the first few paragraphs, I'll usually read on for a few chapters but at a much slower pace and the probability of me going off to play online chess or Japanese mahjong is pretty high.

Like Cyhort, I don't like coffee or tea very much so my caffeine intake is all from pop/soda/softdrinks.

Favorite superheroes are Gambit and the Human Torch. When I watched X-men: the animated series and Fantastic Four, those were the two that I thought were cool. I'm still hoping that they bring Johnny back from the dead. Favorite villains are Magneto, Dr. Doom, and Lex Luthor.

I finally reading all the previous chapters again. I definitely like this chapter. I could really feel the emotions coming out as the chapter went on, and after you described the kiss as a fresh bouquet of flowers I knew that it wasn't going to happen. To me, it still feels like he is rationalizing his feelings for Max. However, maybe he does know what he is feeling and I am not giving Sam much credit, just like Max, Annabelle, and Renee. I also figured out what I didn't like about Chapter 8. Cam. He really did annoy the heck out of me and my brain just wandered off whenever he spoke. Did he have a hand in Sam's analysis of his feelings? If he did, I really am going to hate him more. He is a good catalyst but I want to put tape his mouth shut. Overall, it was a good chapter and I can't wait to see what happens next.

I now prefer long chaptered stories. It usually takes me a while to get attached to the characters in a story so the length is necessary for me to get lost in a story. I used to filter my searches to stories with at least 20,000 words to make sure I get that length. I still read short stories, but they just don't give the same emotional highs and lows that I look for in a story. As for writing, the last person who got tortured with my writing is my English teacher in 4th year high school.

Dangerous Impulses is a wonderful story by Greg_A. I'm guessing that that is what Dark was recommending.

Generally, no. It's not worth risking a good friendship. I won't say absolutely not though. If, for example, they broke up amicably four years ago, the ex remained our friend, and I started to like the ex, then I'll talk to my best friend about it and sort of ask permission or something.

So what exactly is the plan here? Is the plan to meet up during Canada Day or the day after? It's a week and a half away so we should probably finalize this if the people who live near still want to meet up. Andy, last week of July is the Pride festival so maybe you can still meet up with some people and go to the events. If you're still there on the 30th there's a pancake breakfast on Davie. There's also a picnic at Stanley park on the 23rd if you are here by then.

Even though I still want the Canucks to win, I actually agree with you on this one! The way they play in Boston is absolutely pathetic. With that said, I will conveniently forget about that if they win on Wednesday!

I don't think they'll make Schneider start. It is too important a game. Luongo isn't playing his best but I'm more comfortable in believing that he can regroup than in Schneider being able to step up and steal a game if needed.

After last night's game, it was almost like deja vu. It is eerily similar to the Chicago series but one game early.
