This has been my flash fiction collection 2022. Due to unforeseeable developments, spontaneous ideas, and the wolf and the dragon not keeping their mouths shut it is now my Claws and Paws flash fiction collection. Shorts will be added randomly.

During a time of great turmoil, when emperors and gods rose to power and fell within a lifetime. A child was born from an ancient celestial stone. He will be known by many names and his fame will reach beyond the three realms one day, but before any of that, he was a child. He needed to be cared for and taught by men, who did not fear him and allowed him to be himself.

George Corwin wins a special election to become Sheriff of Essex County Massachusetts, and on Halloween he learns the job includes more than he was expecting. Maybe he should have studied the history of the county before he decided to run.

Cade Bennett is a college student and he happens to see an online ad for a house sitter. It’s only for one week and sounds like it will be easy money, but the week he’s hired for includes Halloween and he soon learns there’s more to this job than he expected.
