This is the story of two high-schoolers in the mid-70s growing closer and learning about life and love in rural Ohio. All songs and key phrases are linked to a video.

Young Adam, aka Simon, aka J.J. grew up in Southern Indiana, the victim of sexual abuse for as long as he could remember. The one thing he had going for himself was his intelligence, which allowed him to master advanced college-level material online. On his 13th birthday, however, his father left him no choice but to fight back the only way he could. Forced to run away, he began an amazing journey that would lead him to the highest corporate echelons, and more importantly, to love.

Despite promises to the contrary a teenage boy finds himself in yet another Juvenile Care home. He feels abandoned by his own parents, as if he was refuse, placed besides the garbage can at collection day. Feeling hurt and rejected, he withdraws and experiences a paralyzing all-encompassing loneliness. Until he receives attention, warmth and affection from another boy. Where would that lead to?

Two Sami boys, living in a small town in the extreme north of Norway, become friends while in primary school. They remain friends for years, but both discover, independently from each other, that they possess a trait, that will never be accepted by their people. But that is unacceptable for them. Which only meant, that the fight is on!

No, I'm not writing that fast. Actually, this story was planned to publish around this date, until I spontaneously decided to put "Pedik Russkiy" on line first. Since I've worked ahead I plan 1 part per week.

One summer well before the Bolshevik revolution, when Russia was a noble country, young Alexei, as was the custom of the time, left the city with his family, for the countryside.

It was a time of discovery, excitement, longing, and also sadness. A time in which he made new acquaintances and fought battles with himself, as the child he still was struggled free from many constraints into a world of dangerous possibilities.

Joey and his two best mates are on vacation on the sunny island of Gran Canaria. All is great apart from his Mum's constant phoning to ask him about various aspects of their family business - A pub in London.
Later on, when Joey starts to moan about the workload his parents are placing on him, his mother decides to hire a new cellar hand to work on Saturdays. But life is about to get a whole lot more complicated, as a boy from Joey's school has immediately applied, and it's someone he thought he had left in his past.

Whether you follow war, like war, read about war or are interested in war it is sadly a fact of life, but can make fascinating reading. The war in Afghanistan is still in play even as I write this in 2021. The country has been through many wars but ‘Him in the dust’ is a point in history (2005-2006) where I decided to start the book that you will read.

This story starts in June of 2003. The invasion of Iraq is over, George Bush has landed on the aircraft carrier and proclaimed "Mission Accomplished", and the insurgency has yet to begin. Some may think America is at the height of its power.
