Pushed far enough that he broke Quinn Newton's nose. Starting a series of events that both of them wished never happened. Like the collision of two suns. One beautiful explosion is going to come out of that.

The adventure picks up where the 1st book "The Shadowy Path" ended.

The riverboat takes the travellers to the town of Five Hills, the headquarters known as Castle Cache. There, Zal Fizol tries once more to make his old adversaries realise the danger they face. As the web of intrigue grows ever tighter, Josel finds himself a mere pawn in a much bigger game. When old grudges and hatreds seek a way to unravel, all of humanity is at stake.

Not even the thick walls of Castle Cache can protect them from the Darkness. Especially when the enemy lurks within the castle. At the same time, someone loves another person so much that it hurts.

This is my first attempt at writing a story that is no gay or straight. There are people in it that are both. It is set in the future, but once you begin to read it what year it is won't matter.

University student Brett Hamilton completes high school two years earlier than usual and enters university to study Aeronautical Engineering, which he changes to Aerospace Engineering in his second year. Back home for Christmas Holidays, the family goes for a camping holiday, where things change dramatically for Brett.

A real prince marries a man and makes him part of his family.

A response to Prompt #68:

Imagine where your character leads a pretty decent single life. Then there is a phone call and that life is turned upside down as they find out, they have just become a parent—to a teenager. Is this a cousin that has been left with no other family members? A god child? A niece or nephew? What is this first meeting between them going to be like?

The circumstances whereby Manny obtains guardianship are a little strange, to say the least. Not to mention what happens afterward.

Kieran and his friends, returned from the Realms, face troubles of a human kind.

Book Two of The Last Statue follows on from Heart of Black Ice Bay and traces the lives of five new characters across roughly similar timelines.
