They say the mountains always call you back. They never leave your heart.
But home isn't always a place. Sometimes it's the people who share our lives, the memories we carry, and the unexpected connections we make along the way.
As old friends return to Montana, two young cowboys discover that the heart has room for more than they ever imagined.
For family. For friendship. For the land they love.
And perhaps, for each other.

"You can never trust a Crawley." Those were Albert Cooley's words to his sons, spoken every chance he got, and August did his best to do what was expected of him after his ma passed. The Crawleys and the Cooleys were ranching families, and they didn't mix, not ever, but more and more, August had a problem with letting his father decide everything for him. Was Fletcher really his enemy? Could he trust the man he'd butted heads with over and over, one he'd known pretty much his whole life? All he knew for certain was he was tired of all the conflict, and needed his life to change before he exploded. That's where his Gran came in.

The Montana sky is wide, coffee strong, and wounded souls are never turned away from Two Spirits Horse Ranch. When Jake finds a young stranger left for dead at the north gate, his promise to protect him draws the whole ranch into a fight against fear, memory, and the men who might return to finish what they started. Warm, funny, tender, and suspenseful, In the Barb is a Western romance about found family, survival, and the kind of love that begins as rescue but grows into home.

In a lawless land where bullets write the law, an arrogant city-dweller ventures into the Wild West seeking revenge. What he finds is a world ruled by outlaws—and a dangerous man who becomes his captor. Bound by circumstance and drawn by an irresistible pull, they clash in a game of wit, pride, and survival. But as the desert sun sets on their hatred, something far more dangerous rises between them. On the Wild West, to try and ride someone means to break them, to own them—or to lose yourself completely. Only one of them will be tamed.

Ash is a modern cowboy on a large cattle ranch in Oklahoma. He lives a fairly simple life and has found his place on Nasser Ranch, along with his friends and fellow cowboys (and girl). Things begin to change soon after their new hands arrive. And one of those new hands turns Ash's world upside down.

I've been curious about how well AI can write porn. So, I decided to try it. Here is the 10,000 word story it produced, I think most readers of Gay Authors will find this an interesting experiment. Please, check it out.

The year is 1891, and the Wild West is dying. Alvarez is a smartly dressed, smooth-talking bandito riding north with a stolen fortune, a lethal six-shooter, and one very spoiled cat. He travels alone, until he finds a half-frozen boy bleeding in the cold mud. Devon is an exile, violently banished from his Mennonite community and hunted by the very boys who broke him. As they ride together, Devon's cold logic clashes with Alvarez's flashy chaos. Slowly, the pinstriped killer and the battered runaway must learn to trust each other before the past catches up to them both.
