Life's Struggles - 18. Sad News

Hi everyone,

Devastatingly a few days ago Rob had a mini-stroke, but overnight he’s had a big one and will be in the hospital for the foreseeable future. As far as I know at the moment it has affected the entire right side of his body and speech. When I know more I’ll keep you updated as to how he is doing. I wish it was better news. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery. Be in touch soon.

Thanks Onim, I hope so to. It’s not going to be much fun without him bossing me around and poking fun at me for a while. I wish there was more that we could do to help him get better. :glomp:

There is nothing to add to this except I will definitely add him to my nightly prayers and have him be mentioned at our Sunday service.People do come back from this so we can hope

Well, you know I'm always up for the challenge of bossing you around and poking fun at you is so delightful. I have plenty of free time on my hands now.

So sorry to hear about Rob. 😢

I hope he will regain full mobility again after rehab. 🙏🤞 It's going to be hard work, but he has to keep fighting 💪

So sorry to hear this about Rob. I am just now getting around to reading and hearing about it. Got involved in some other stories and work is getting a lot busier lately. I see that was on Sept 18th. How is he doing now? Has he improved any and if so, do his doctors think he will have full recovery from the stroke? I know it isn't easy on him are any of you guys. All our thoughts are with you all!  Please keep us informed whenever you can.

Just stopping by, to thank each of you for the positive thoughts and prayers, along with the kind words. I had lost use of the entire right side of my body from a rare type of stroke. I have been working hard with various therapists and I am relearning to walk, write and feed myself. My speech is returning to normal. I will check in regularly. Remember to be kind and love one another.
