Confounded: Part II 2. Confounded

Well, well....hello there! 5 years later, I return and to my deep shame, I see that this story is still not finished. My sincere apologies. However, I have news:

- I am writing again. The joy I found in writing disappeared for a long while. A very long while, yes. It has returned, since about a month ago  and I spent much of my three-week vacation writing, after first re-reading this one. And then it just...began again. The joy in writing had returned and I wrote from dusk till dawn, about two weeks straight. An idea formed and resulted in hundreds of pages, to be exact. And I found I wasn't done with these characters. So:

- I'm planning to expand this story with one more installment, making this a trilogy series instead of a two-parter;

- The 3rd is actually almost complete, about 3/4 done, and you're not going to see that one coming ;

- One other story formed in my head while writing, went on that tangent for a while and it's about halfway.

So here I am again. Chapter 52 is coming soon enough, but not today. Just know that you can expect it in the near future. And I will not be using the pace I previously did. I want stories finished now, before I start posting. Take my time. I've done my George RR Martin stint.

I’ve missed Mitch & Taylan and Kit & Tom….look forward to seeing what they’ve been up to as well as what other stories you have to tell, your couples are fiery in their love for each other and I like to see it.

- The third is progressing nicely. Funny enough, the 4th was the third originally, planning to make this a trilogy instead, but then lots of story ideas and sidetracking occurred and I realized that it was too much for just one  ;

- One other story formed in my head while writing, went on that tangent for a while and it's about halfway.

This is very exciting news. I remember these stories fondly, and was so disappointed when they abruptly halted. So glad to see you back and inspired once again.

Wow I was so happy when I checked my notifications yesterday and saw a new chapter posted.  I thought my eyes were deceiving me.  I haven’t read the new chapter yet as I went back and started over again with confounded 1 and just binged read again up to the newest chapter. So glad you are back and the writing bug has struck again you are at the top of my to 10 fav writers.  I had basically given up hope that this story would be finished since it had been so long.  Well welcome back and I look forward to more on this story and the others you write.

Q
