Worthington Manor - 8. Chapter 8

Hunter seemed to be a little more cheerful than normal at the breakfast table.

“Hunter, you’re unusually cheery this morning. Did something happen?” asked Julia

He looked to Justin as if to ask permission to tell her and Justin gave him a nod of approval.

“Well, Mrs. Moore, I asked your son out yesterday and he said yes.”
“What!” yelled Kevin

Justin looked at Kevin as if to try and shut him up and he did out of respect for his little brother.

“Well that’s wonderful you guys.” said Julia
“Yes it is son. I’m happy for you two.” said John, Hunter’s father.
“Thanks dad.” Hunter grabbed the top of Justin’s hand, who was sitting next to him.

***Later, in Justin’s bedroom***

“What in the hell are you thinking? Isn’t this the guy that took your virginity and then acted like you didn’t exist?” asked Kevin
“Yeah, but he’s apologized about that and he’s been really sweet to me.” said Justin
“Oh come on Justin you cannot be that naïve.” said Kevin
“Can you just give me a little more credit?”
“I’m sorry, it’s just that you were pretty hurt by this guy and now you two are going out, I just don’t want you to get hurt little brother.” said Kevin
“Thanks Kev, I really appreciate it, but I can handle Hunter Larabee.” said Justin
“Okay, but I swear if he hurts you there’s no telling what I might do.” said Kevin.

As Kevin left the room Hunter was coming. He stopped Hunter in the hallway.

“You hurt my brother in any way or break his heart, you’re a dead man.”
“Kevin, I have absolutely no intention on hurting your brother. I really like him.” said Kevin.
“Good, because your life is at stake here”

Hunter walked into Justin’s room after Kevin left him in the hallway.

“Oh hey Hunter” said Justin
“Hey, whatcha doin’?” asked Hunter
“Nothing, I was about to go up and explore the third floor.”
“But it’s blocked off.”
“So”
“It could be dangerous.”
“Yeah, you might be right.” said Justin.
“We could stay in here.” said Hunter
“And do what?”
“I don’t know, we could lie on the bed.”
“Again, and do what?”
“We don’t have to do anything. We could just lye there.” said Hunter
“How romantic of you, Hunter.” said Justin sarcastically.
“Well excuse me for trying to get to know you better.” said Hunter

Hunter turned around and tried to leave, but Justin got up and stopped him.

“Oh Hunter, wait, wait, wait; I was just kidding. Turn around.”

He grabbed both of Hunters hands and interlocked their fingers.

“That’s sounds wonderful.”
“Really”
“Yeah”

They crawled onto the bed and laid there on the bed for about a half an hour. Then, Justin’s cell phone rang. It was Luke

“Hey Luke, how did you get this number?” asked Justin
“Kevin, your brother was just here at Mikey’s. He gave it to me. I hope this is okay.” said Luke
“No it’s fine. What did you need?” asked Justin
“Your brother told me that you and Hunter are officially going out now, and I just thought that I owed it to you to tell you about his reputation.” said Luke
“What’s his reputation?” asked Justin
“He has a reputation of sleeping around if you know what I mean. He’s been through every gay boy in school. He sleeps with them and then breaks their hearts.” said Luke
“Well, we’ve already done that and he hasn’t broken my heart yet.” said Justin
“You guys slept together already?” asked Luke
“Yeah, the other night.” said Justin.
“Well then just be careful okay. He has a bad reputation.” said Luke
“Why does it sound like you care for me more than just like a friend?” asked Justin

There was a pause.

“I-I don’t, I j-just don’t want you to get hurt.” said Luke
“Okay, well thank you. Listen, I’ll meet you at Mikey’s in half an hour for a burger or something and we can talk more then okay.” said Justin
“Sure that’s sounds great.” said Luke
“Bye Luke”
“Bye”
“Who was that?” asked Hunter
“That was Luke. I’m going to meet him later at Mikey’s for a burger.”
“So you guys are friends?” asked Hunter
“Yeah, he was the first person that I meant in this town. He was nice to me and I’m grateful. So, yeah he’s my friend.” said Justin
“So, why are you meeting him for food?” asked Hunter
“What’s up with all of these questions?” asked Justin as he laid back down in Hunter’s arms. “Is that jealousy talking?”
“What? Ha, jealousy, there’s no way that this is jealously.” said Hunter, sarcastically.
“Listen, Hunter, there’s nothing for you to worry about. Luke is just a friend, not only that he’s straight for Christ’s sake.”
“Well, I trust you I guess.”
“You guess?”
“Well, I don’t really know you all too well, I can’t really fully trust you can I and I don’t even expect or want you to trust me yet either.” said Hunter
“That’s pretty reasonable of you.”
“Well we only have a few more minutes and then I have to catch the bus to go to town.”
“Don’t do that, let me take you.”
“Well, I still have to change out of my morning clothes. So, let me get changed and I will meet you in five minutes.”
“Why do I have to leave, I’ve seen you naked already.”
“I just don’t want you to get too excited and distract me from getting ready and making me late to meet my friend.” said Justin

Hunter came up behind Justin, who was already looking through his closet, wrapped his arms around his waist and started pecking him on the neck.

“Well what…is so bad…about that…?” asked Hunter in between pecks on the neck.

Justin moaned in pleasure.

“No, no, no; stop it. I need to get dressed.” said Justin as he pushed him off.
“Okay, okay, I’ll be in the hallway.” said Hunter
“Okay,” Justin pecked him on the lips. “I’ll only be a few minutes.”
