Poetry by Renee - 6. I Never

I never met you
But I knew you

I never saw you
But you were beautiful

I never met you
But you were part of me

I never heard your voice
But I spoke to you

I never met you
But I loved you

I know it's short, but it's very meaningful to me.

It's short, but it really warms the heart and soul of its reader.

Nicely done, Renee. :)

Thank you, Reader. I debated posting because of the shortness, but I'm glad I did.

It's short lyrical nature almost makes it a hymn. It's almost worthy of being the Doxology of online relationships.... Thanks for posting it.

Thank you, AC! It was a tough one to post, but you're right that it kind of fits most online relationships. And that video was beautiful.

Short or not, this poem packs a powerful punch. It describes exactly what I'm feeling at the moment, so thank you for posting it.

This was beautiful, Renee. It perfectly describes the joy and love I've found in some very dear and cherished friends I haven't had the pleasure to meet face to face.  Thank you for this.

Thank you, Mac. I just couldn't get the words to leave me alone until I gave in to writing them down.

Yes they can, and being able to speak to so many people is just an added bonus.
