During a time of great turmoil, when emperors and gods rose to power and fell within a lifetime. A child was born from an ancient celestial stone. He will be known by many names and his fame will reach beyond the three realms one day, but before any of that, he was a child. He needed to be cared for and taught by men, who did not fear him and allowed him to be himself.
This is a historical fantasy story set during the time of the Sixteen Kingdoms and Six Dynasty period of Chinese history between 220-589 AD, featuring the scrap-picking Taoist immortal god Xie Lian and his husband, the indomitable Ghost king, Hua Cheng, from the Heaven Official’s Blessing series by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. This is a work of fan-fiction, which incorporate various aspects from the novels, along with additional elements from other classical Chinese tales, including the titular child.
Update: Wow thank you for the support, the steady readership is very surprising, I didn't expect readers to be interested in this story. I guess I have to do some long-term planning for this story. This will not be a short term passion project then- 8/31/22
