Yeah, that can be a bit unbecoming.

But, I'm inclining to think that most the stuff in question are just said in jest. At least in my case, when I say something along the lines of "*drools after (insert person)* I'm not really doing so.

*drools after (insert person)* and "Hey (insert person) you are very handsome" or some other discombobulation are perfectly fine. It's the posts that drag that statement out into two or three sentences that read as if the two people were in front of one another, One of them would lack all social tact and restraint.

Its a message board people, just because the thinning veil of anonymity separates us does not mean it okay to violate another persons boundaries in a series of posts. Like a way a person looks go ahead and playfully insert drool that isn't the issue; the issue is: typing out what you would like to do to a person given a weekend, and the opportunity.

Decorum is attractive. It is what separates us from animals. Then again I guess some people like animals.

I like animals. And I crush on you just a little everytime I reread your stories. I think you are right though ... the veil of anonymity makes people take things further than they would in polite society. Nice remember, Shadowgod!

I dont want to see two people slobbering over each other like you described. Probably because it reminds me of a certain member who does the same thing to me, and the dilemma I face when they do it: 'Do I shoot them down deadpan and deal with the inevitable drama fallout for the next week OR MORE' or 'Shall I just laugh along with this and feel thoroughly violated in the process?'. Not a good set of options.

Sometimes there's a slim line between being playful and flirting, and being obnoxious. Sometimes people are too sensitive. Factoring all those things in, in an anonymous forum, can be difficult at times. I see your point.
