What the . . .

So last night we were watching the old film Bugsy Malone with some friends and their kids.

About half way through the film, one of our friends sons, Matthew, who is 14, made the following comment. "I'd love to coat that in honey and lick it off".

Assumed he was referring to Tallulah (played by Jodie Foster)

or maybe Blousey (played by Florrie Dugger).

Nope, I was wrong on both counts.

Turned out he was actually perving on Bugsy (played by Scott Baio).

Well, that's one way of coming out to friends.

@sly - I used to have a collection of LPs and 45s when I was younger.  I used to play them all the time, CDs just don't sound right

@Cia - yeah, they were so young in it.  I saw a recent pic of Scott Baio and couldn't believe it was the same person

@Tom - I was a little surprised, but when I first saw the film at about the same age I fancied Scott Baio as well.  I feel a little weird that we both have the same taste.

Good for him. That's brave, and it shows his trust in his friends and family.

I had a bit of a thing for Lil Scott too. Also Randolph Mantooth from Emergency. Which is now on netflix if anyone cares

It's nice to see teens not being afraid to be  honest about things like their sexuality. When I was 14 ( in the stone age) most kids were just figuring it out themselves let alone telling people around em.

If you are going to do it, do it in style. Good for him!

Great that kids are getting away from sugar heavy teeny boppers and into sweet old honey coated stars :P
