Monday I go back to skool after all these years.

 

I got my computer science degree in 1986. There have been a few developments since then that I need to brush up on.

 

I'll be learning about the finer points of next generation fiber optics, ip/pbx systems and other new hardware.

 

I have plans and the certifications on the new gadgets will help.

 

Imagine that- an old geezer like me in school again.

 

I wonder if the freshmen are as dumb as they used to be...

Good for you, James! Now, if you--in your advanced age--take a cane, you can sit in the back and beat on all the young whippersnappers who won't shut up and pay attention. :P

Why go back I left school two years ago at the tender age of 18 and will not step foot in that building ever again, although I did like some aspects of school especially the first years in there white tight during ballet class that didn't leave much for the imagination.

Why go back to school? Education continues for the rest of your life. There is so much more to learn every day.  Things change, technologies advance, and new discoveries are made all the time.  Thinking you've learned all that you'll ever need to know at the age of 18 only shows how much you still need to learn!
