shadows 1 Posted March 31, 2006 Hmm, Adrien Brody? I found myself thinking he was kind of hot for parts of the movie, but his heterosexuality and the fact he was too old finally got to me. He's not overly attractive but he has character... And I tend to laugh at violnce too. I do it more to horrify other people than anything. It's fun to watch people react in horror, it's not as though I find misfortune that amusing. Then again... And no I've never stayed up late to do a load of laundry (that's what the parents are for!), but I have panicked that I left the washer on. I worried throughout the entire length of Sahara (forgettable movie) whether or not I'd left the durned thing on. Apparently it shuts itself off... heh. //shadows
LittleBuddhaTW 705 Posted March 31, 2006 If you're into horror flicks, definitely check out some Japanese and Hong Kong horror movies ... I've been hooked on them for a few years now, and they always scare the sh*t out of me. Hollywood has tried to jump on that bandwagon and done remakes of "The Ring" and "The Grudge," but the originals are still much scarier. You just might have trouble sleeping for a while ... although that's nothing a cute guy in bed next to you can't take care of ...
Philistine 1 Posted March 31, 2006 i've stayed up for laundry. then again, getting me to stay up is really easy. it's getting me to sleep that's difficult. only managed 3 hours last night. oh, and i agree about that adrien brody. his nose bothers me sometimes. i don't think he's ugly or anything. but it's like...owen wilson's nose. or james blunt's mouth. it just sort of bothers me if i focus on it too much. hm, now i feel shallow. you know what you should see? night watch. that movie was awesome. everyone should see it.
AFriendlyFace 191 Posted April 1, 2006 hmmm I don't watch horror movies anymore, but I used to quite like them. I didn't think that guy was particularly attractive or ugly. However, that stowaway, thief kid was really cute! And didn't it feel like they left a part of his story "unfinished"? Like they were making it seem like he'd come from Skull Island, but they never really elaborated on it. I stay up too late for laundry all the time oh, and i agree about that adrien brody. his nose bothers me sometimes. i don't think he's ugly or anything. but it's like...owen wilson's nose. or james blunt's mouth. it just sort of bothers me if i focus on it too much. hm, now i feel shallow. I think Owen Wilson is SO HOT! His nose is definitely his worst feature, but other than that
MonkeySeeMonkeyDo 0 Posted April 2, 2006 I think Owen Wilson is SO HOT! His nose is definitely his worst feature, but other than that Isn't that amazing how we can all see things so differently! I've always liked Owen Wilson's nose. I guess it's because without the imperfections, he'd almost seem too perfect. His weird nose gives him so much character, IMHO. Upon further review, I SOOOOO don't believe I'm discussing Owen Wilson's nose. Errrr, I guess I'll go do my laundry. LOL Danny
Guest rainbowelf Posted April 2, 2006 I've stayed up for laundry. But it's even worse here cause I live in the dorms and the laundromat is a really far walk away so it sucks.
rknapp 32 Posted April 3, 2006 I don't do my laundry... I pack my laundry into my car, come home on friday, loose my mom on it, and bring clean clothes back to school Seriously though, if I did my my laundry here in the dorms, I'd set the building on fire. Remember the Seton Hall dorm fire? That originated in the laundry room, so it CAN be done...
Gearoid 0 Posted April 5, 2006 Hmm, Adrien Brody? I found myself thinking he was kind of hot for parts of the movie, but his heterosexuality and the fact he was too old finally got to me. He was born on April 14 1973. Which makes him nearly 33 - Wow!! a dinosaur no less Despite that he was good in the Pianist - was he not? Gearoid

Gearoid I don't know why but I never have been able to read Pianist right. In fact ever since I was a kid I always read pianist as penis.
dkstories 17,545 Posted April 6, 2006 That's it...get his IP and ban him... 33 is not old. (so says the guy at 35). Now 41 is old (boyfriend is 40). Better yet...show up at his 30th birthday party and laugh.

The Duck of Death 0 Posted April 16, 2006 I've up up late because of laundry. All the time in fact. I've been watching a lot of horror myself lately. Mostly zombie flicks from the 80s. It's not easy to find good ones that aren't spoofs. Not that there's anything wrong with horror-comedy. Dead Alive is one of the best movies I've ever seen. And I'm officially rambling now.
jdub80 0 Posted April 20, 2006 Dear Diary, Two weeks now since we've heard a peep from Dom. And yesterday, I saw a snake with 5 heads. I am relatively sure that these are both signs of the impending apocalypse. J-Dub
