All the love.....<3<3

The other day when I finally finished my homework at a stupid time early in the morning, I looked at my aol screen and I had like 7 emails, so I checked them and they were all messages from GA telling me I had new comments on my blog. So I decide to go ahead and read them, and the first one I saw was a flame from some creep who made it sound like he hated me and...well, if you havent already read it, you can go back if you want to and see what it says.Anyway, I looked underneath that comment and I couldn't believe how everyone had my back. It made me feel really good about myself and about being here, and just earlier that day, I didn't think anyone wanted me here. I just want everyone who posted all of those nice things on my blog to know that I really do appreciate it. I was pretty sure that everyone hated my guts, but you proved me wrong. Anyway, it was hella cool of you guys to do that for me.Im not going to worry about who made the post. I hope that the person who did it can be happy one day, because it doesn't sound like he(or she) is very happy right now. I went on and made it so that guests can't leave comments or read my blog anymore, just because it kinda weirded me out the way the guy said he had been reading all of my posts and stuff, then he went off on me.But thank you to EVERYONE who defended me against his post, and I want you to know that I'll never forget it.<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3 :wub::wub::wub::wub::wub::wub::wub::wub::wub: Well, I posted chapter 22 of my story yesterday, and after talking to a few of my freinds, Im wondering if I should maybe just start emailing the chapters out to people who are following it instead of posting them on that Xanga page. Even though theres no sex in it, some of the chapters have been kinda sexy in a way, and I don't know if it's ok to have them up there like that....anyway, if you read this entry, and you have been following the story, email me or pm me to tell me what you think. I just don't want my page to get shut down and people to not be able to read the story anymore..<3<3<3<3<3KissesNickolas

Nicky,

I've always liked you ever since you posted that comment about Dom being such a good writer that he could write a gay story about two sticks :lmao: .

And while I don't always agree with many of the members here (as I'm sure they don't always agree with me), on the things that matter I've found a tremendous amount of support from a wide variety of members. :2thumbs:

Awwww...thanks Vic....I've liked you since I first got here because you have always been nice to me. Also, I thnk it's true that Dom could write a awsome story about 2 sticks...lol.

It just felt really good to read all of those sweet comments that everyone made, so I can see what you mean about them all being supportive

Nick,

First of all, I hope you don't mind me calling you that. Every time I type "Nickolas" I have to go back and check my spelling.

Anyway, you probably felt like nobody liked you because you were spending your time in the SoapBox. That's a pretty intense forum (designed to be as a matter of fact) and you bring views that are sometimes tough to deal with. Why are your views tough to deal with? Well, speaking for myself, I hear where you are and it doesn't sound all that dissimilar to where I was when I was your age. It's hard to address that issue without sounding condescending or patronizing, and I'm sure you absolutely hate it when people tell you that you're just too young to understand and that you'll get it "when you grow up" or "get older". There is something to experience and wisdom, but that's rarely appreciated by the young and idealistic. That's not such a bad thing.

So while many of us are ready to crucify Nick the politician, that really doesn't mean that we don't like Nick the person and want him to be part of this forum. I'll bet you have friends and relatives that don't agree with your viewpoints (I sure as hell do) but you still like/love them, no?

Most people in this group are keyed to fight against injustice. It's part of the gay and gay-allied persona. We'll get your back. You just have to make sure none of us grab your ass while we're at it. :P

I would have to say that hate is a word that is thrown around very loosely. I can have a differing opinion and argue vehemently without hating. Sure some opinions may get my blood to boil because I am passionate about my opinions. I don't hate people because of thoughts or opinions. I hate people because of their actions. I never hated you. I hope you didn't hate me. It is okay to be frustrated with one another because we don't agree. I just don't see how anyone can say anything in the Soapbox to meet the threshold to earn my hate. I think a good rule of thumb for the Soapbox would be: "Don't hate the player(s), hate the game". Take care.

After the performance of the Chicago Bears against the Redskins yesterday, there are a lot of players I'd be hatin' - not just the game... :)

Hey, we gave up less points and scored more points than the Packers :P

Ouch, that packer comment hurts! Though they really did suck yesterday...

Always good to focus on the positive. I'd make some witty retort about how that wouldn't have happened if the Bears PLAYED the Packers, but the Packers are pretty pitiful too, so it's not clear what happens with that train wreck.
