how do i post my stories as attachments

Hi, If any one can enlighten me how to post my stories as an attachment rather than cut and paste it in the message box. I see the attachments option in this forum, but there isn't one in the story annoucement and library forum. Or do i just them in these forums, I am confused. Pls HELP.
