I can't believe that West is clueless in this mess, you'd think they would have contacted everyone by now. Ethan is so confident that he has won Sean over that he will make mistakes. I think Sean is betting the waitress has read his note and needs to try and stay in place for a few more days. The weather being beautiful, Sean will talk Ethan into walking the beach. Ethan will agree, not realizing that a storm is coming in! Great chapter! Tiff keep it up! They real scary part is when they finally discover who Ethan really is! I'm sure he has had numerous encounters and the Police have been searching for him. After all is he just wealthy on his own merit??

Yeah...Ethan is a bit insane, huh? Glad I was able to bring out the crazy in him where you want to jump in on the action. I think by now a lot of people want Ethan to get it, since in the first chapter, we do know how things turn out, just not the exact details... Oh Tiff, you are way too humble . I think you did a great job writing a suspense/adventure/thriller type story here ! And i could not find any holes in the plot or flaws in the logic so far.. so it seems it comes together in your mind just the way its supposed to be LOL, heya Pete! Thanks for the pep talk! I considered West being clued in on the whole thing, but then again, he's across the country and we don't always hear the news in every state. Plus, Storm preferred to keep it a family issue, not wanting coworkers and other people asking questions or offering condolences because sometimes that makes the emotional stress worse. And I believe West would be constantly hounding Skyler and Zeke for updates which would just reinforce the fact that Sean is still missing. Even the crazy masterminds can make mistakes. We know he's not "all" there and truly believes Sean loves him. Sean is hopeful that will be enough for the smallest opportunity to come about. This is random, I really liked the waitress scene. It shows the kindness of human nature and the willingness to help. I had to put myself in her shoes and I wasn't 100% positive I'd call. I mean, so many people play practical jokes these days, which really ruins it for those who actually need help. Then again, like Chelsea, she got a very ominous vibe and she went with her gut feeling. Nice to show that a stranger can save the day... End rant! lol. Thanks for commenting.

What a great two chapters, that resturant scene had me on the edge of my seat, because I honestly didn't know how it was going to end. That waitress needs to be on a baseball team!! Storm and Ethan will never fully recover from this, but it looks like they are getting their lives back on track. I still have questions about Ethan, surely he has a sordid past somewhere, I wonder if we will find out? Again great chapters Tiff, Thank-you!!

Must be the romantic in me, and I agree with storm that West is the right guy for Sean

Chelsea, the waitress, has such a small role in the past few chapters, but kind of an important one, since she kind of brings Storm and Sean together, and has a really good arm! With the doctor's statement, it just shows that crazy people, well, there is no right way of handling them. It's an unfortunate luck of the draw and then you have to deal with them as they come. Sean's kidnapping was obviously a bad outcome, but at least he was reunited with his family. And we know that it doesn't usually end that way for more kidnappings. Like you, I feel totally mushy about West, lol. I didn't start out liking him too much for some reason, but I progressively began liking him a whole lot more. Kind of the gentle giant thing and him and Sean just fit really well together. Thanks for commenting!
