Yeah, excellent work Dan. Was good to see how the alliance is going to work & how people are still playing politics even though an invading alien force is threatening everything! lol. I do wonder though if someone will try to steal the tech for those missiles, Pembry seemed very interested Though that said, there is quite enough for us to get our teeth into.

Phasic technology wouldn't do a whole lot of good without the materials to use it so i doubt we'll see much in the way of an attempt to steal the technology by the kingdom or the federation. The kingdom doesn't need to seize the source because its all but got Garret in its pocket and the Federation does not have the forces to go about seizing it or the resources to hold it with two thirds of its habitable worlds already lost. With the loyal forces of the Republic, Atrix forces, kingdom forces, and federation forces all defending Atrix Prime and there being only one point of entry to that system the great houses of the republic with designs on siezing the source will find themselves hard pressed to pull that off indeed!

One thing needs to be kept in mind that the 'loyal' forces of the Republic are controlled by the Great Houses themselves...as Garret himself put it...which is turning to be a bit of a problem, in his own words...
