I had something similar happen before. Over the summer two years ago, I attended a summer program in murfreesboro and my parents gave me one of their cards for supplies and it wasn't going through near the end so I went and checked it at an ATM, it read -120,000 dollars.

 

It was funny having to explain this to my mom. She went crazy, "Lacey, what in the hell did you BUY!?"

Years ago, a couple neighbor of ours in PR traveled throughout Europe and charged everything. They never got a bill for their purchases, never registered in their Visa. Perhaps that poor guy is stuck with their tab?

They do that with the tax on each packet of cigarettes... which is why they won't ban it
