My father died when I was 10 and my mother was destroyed by it. It was a long time before she was able to get through her days without thinking of him constantly and seeing him in everything around her. That was 36 years ago, and while she eventually was able to move on with her life, she still never remarried. She told me the other day that he was her soulmate and she could never think of being with anyone else. I always think of them when I hear this. I still hope to find a love like that.
