First, a reminder that the deadline for this year's anthology is fast approaching!  The Proof Team is hard at work, but keep those stories coming in! 

I've been brainstorming some ideas for the anthology blog, and I wanted to get input from authors and readers of the anthologies.  Please tell me what you'd like to see in future anthology blogs, and I will do my best to make it happen.  

1.  Anthology Rewinds - re-featuring past anthologies

2.  Writing tips - such as grammar, punctuation, character development, etc. 

3.  Author interviews

4. Writing for specific genres

5. Tell me your suggestions

Anthology rewinds is a good idea, it showcases older stories, that readers, old and new members. What they have missed.

I like seeing Anthology Rewinds, to help highlight older anthology collections.  I also like Author Interviews.  Those would be my top two.

Writing for specific genres would be challenging and great practice. 🤔

Everyone has different strengths, and the hard part is figuring out themes that the most amount of authors could participate in...

What about genre crossovers or thematic mash-ups?

I'm kinda leaning towards writing toward specific genres too. It's a good opportunity for writers to test the waters of something they haven't  done before.

What about genre crossovers or thematic mash-ups? 

Wow, that could be interesting -- a vampire/end of the world combo, or medieval courtship of a werewolf and an apprentice wizard, or a knight who travels into the future and has to learn computers-- possibilities are endless!

Thanks for the feedback, everyone!  It seems the genre idea is popular, and it's nice to know the rewinds are appreciated.  I'm thinking something like a rotating schedule each month to include a series of articles on writing for specific genres, author interviews, and anthology rewinds.
