A Brother Frank the same age is JP. Poor Robbie. Paris and no whining.

If memory serves, that would be the Frank that we were reading of JP's exploits with back in Be Rad! and Summer Love...wouldn't it, Mark? (Mouse's Uncle?)

I am super excited to read the chapter I wonder who wins the bet if aaron is related to robby or not ♥

Actually I'm disappointed. I thought they will settle it right there, when they read the part about Aaron's birthday. Robbie surely must know the names of his uncles! :o It was striking he didn't know about "Uncle Aaron". This part is really weak and I'm really curious about a PLAUSIBLE explanation of it.

Yay for the Aaron-Steven sex! :lmao:

and moreover, Isidore's "husband" James ;)

If I remember correctly, at the beginning of the chapter Stefan is reading the entries with only JP and Brad present, so Robbie doesn't have the party information yet.

Robbie does know the names of his uncles...or, at least, the ones his family talked about. Think about the time period, the situation, and the Hayes family as we know it from the other stories.

Yeah, I know about that, I sort of assumed that Robbie was there too, even if he wasn't mentioned. Moreover JP and Brad were there but nobody noticed Frank being mentioned?

You're thinking of Roger.

Yeah, I know about that, I sort of assumed that Robbie was there too, even if he wasn't mentioned. They all are apparently waiting for an explicit "Hayes" reference.

Umm... why I have this feeling every time Sharon reacts on any of my posts that she's protecting Mark from my vile assault? :2hands: It's not like that! :(

 That was exactly what came to my mind when I read that ricky! I remembered how Wade "knew" his father... :(

Oh and Enric's right! But this is SOOO much better than Dynasty! :lmao:

If Sharon were defending me, your innards would already being used to make new tennis rackets. She's kind of scary.

Her point is that Robbie wasn't there, so no one is really talking about it. Why? Because while it's important, it pales in comparison to the other shit they're dealing with. JP's sitting there, and finding our that his cousin thought he was creepy (for a while) and that his brother was a complete asshole. Stef is watching his father materialize in front of him in an incredibly vivid format, while Brad is fascinated by all of it. That Aaron is a "Hayes" is interesting, but not vital, at least not right now.

And ponder that if none of them heard of Aaron, there must be a reason.

according to text in an earlier story (somewhere), JP knows of the existence of Aaron. JP mentions (or thinks) somewhere there about Aaron who was a decent guy and fell in war already before Steven.

I think it might be that Jeff was not even born when Aaron died.

(in an older tradition of naming, in some countries, a boy would receive the name of the dead elder brother - but not happened so in this case)

Their mother was one of those gals who gave birth her all fertile age: perghaps started (with eldest who was Aaron, right?) already under 20, and continued popping until Jeff when she surely was about 40

In earlier centuries, many women did that. Twenty-seven years of giving birth....

Jeff's birthday is November 12th, 1945. So just after the war ended. That might be why the Hayes were known as having six brothers- one died in World War II, and one was born soon after, keeping the number at six. Until Sam euthanized Jeff in 1968. So...Five brothers. With Frank as the youngest surviving son. I wonder if any other the other four are worth knowning.

Notice how nice and lovely the Hayes family seems to be. Man.

Mark has chosen a modus operandi that next to every eligible gayish male character here in this story series, approaches the store of the Hayes for a guy to have a relationship with.

Specifically the Hayes supply. Which thsly is sorta 'chosen people'. :)

this of course is nothing new, though in other known cases, such a choice seems to been a deliberate policy .....

Namely, for example, for over a millennium, the Japanese monarchical dynasty kept close a supply of Fujiwara brides, for monarchs and imperial princes to marry. They did it all the time, and I believe the number of Fujiwara girls to imperial beds must been over a thousand bodies all counted together.

Fujiwara was an old noble family. Their function formed to be that sort of chosen supply store of bride flesh.

[i do not know whether gayish Japanese dynasts also similarly had a predilection towards nice-looking, nice-arsed Fujiwara sons :) The dynastical stories do not tell that part... which no-tell of course is no evidence of that not happening]

Naturally, people are much determined by their heredity. The type of favored partner (outlooks and such) is known to be somewhat similar between members of the same family.

But here Mark makes members of several different families to have a tendency towards Hayeses. Brad, who is not biologically kin to JP nor to the late Steven. The late Steven who was not biologically kin to JP. Isidore who is not biologically kin to any of them. Must be that the Hayes outlooks are destined to be universally attractive.

[the videos and modeling pics however do not show guys who'd be that much attractive in my eyes...]

* which reminds me: can we post here pictures of good-looking guys?

One could almost conclude that I think homosexuality is genetic, couldn't one?

You can post pictures of good-looking guys as long as they're not pornographic. Myr doesn't like looking at pictures of men's asses and genitals.tongue.gif

Hayeses? That could be coined as the new term for a rent boy who doesn't charge. hmmm Just a letter or so away from heresy.

Now for the last part. I'm all up for that! Let me begin.

Since I am unsure how much can be revealed here, I cropped some from the original picture of this certain cutie. Suffice to say, clad with his swim trunks, he was balancing on the board when waves....

I observe there is an immense difference between Ricky's and my tastes.... I have always been partial towards dark-haired slender guys...

I like yours better than mine.

Which is nice, but not right for the Hayes.

What's your point?

I just got the impression that Enric doesn't like the guys we're using for physical models, and given his preference, of course he won't like a guy we pick for any of the Hayes, who are beefy with dark blond/light brown hair.

Well, that may be, but there are more characters in the stories than just the Hayes. Probably time for us to drag out an updated pic of Brad.tongue.gif

Well, find a guy who looks like Fabian Forte in his youth and you got it. Though we have decided what Brad's sons Will and JJ will look like as young men. But 2005 is at least three stories off- we've stopping in 2000 and 2001 first after the Box.

There really is just no way of pleasing you, is there Enric?

That's the physical model for Brad. Mark chose him. I think he's handsome. So did a whole hell lot of people back in the 1950's, since he was a teen idol pin-up and all. If you've got a problem with that...well...don't be so rude in expressing your displeasure about it.
