So chapter 20 is up and Dom does it again.

First working in one direction and then suddenly all the way around. First putting you to sleep, all is well and then bam, trouble ahead.

 

Seeing Marissa and Brad together can mean 2 things, either they are up to something or she is trying to bring the former friendships back in place the way they used to be.

I hope the last and she doesn't turn out to be another janie.

I guess we will have to wait till the next chapter is up.

 

It's good to see Bree coming to terms with Quinn after reading Quinns journal and his problems he had with accepting who he was. This is something you could expest from your family, but many times turn out the other way.

Well, Sharon was 100 per cent correct (see her post as to Chapter 19)...now what will Brad and Marissa be up to..or is Brad the new BF to Marissa, which will only lead to a further rift between Brad and Quinn....

 

I felt soooooo horrible and bad for Jude...now he is going through a lot with his parents....that was just awful. I hope that Quinn can be there for Jude in just the way that Jude has been there for Quinn.

 

I wanted to hug Jude so bad..the poor guy..and to see his mother do what she did and said to Jude in front of Quinn's family and what was a happy lunch...even a bonding one. I even had some hope for Mrs. Moore, who is trying to spend quality time with her children and even with Jude...it was just nice to see.

 

Maybe, as they grow closer, she would be accepting of Quinn as Gay...and in a way "adopt" Jude in the sense of being a mother figure etc...I know I get ahead of myself and wear hope on my sleeve.

 

I am still worried about Trina...and it seems as if Bree has come around and is vibing with Taylor (they make good foils for each other) It felt nice..

 

And I agree with Jude...it is better to be honest and if Mrs. Moore asks questions what wil happen with Quinn and so on..wow, now it is getting complicated...and interested...

 

Once again the chapters keep getting better and better...

 

Dom, its such an awesome story...and wow, its even more awesome....filled with joy, happiness and deep deep drama and pain and sorrow...the last scenes..well, my heart broke for Jude..sigh...now, lets see Quinn rise to the occassion and I am sure Bree will be supportive. I was hoping that Quinn would have said to Jude..please stay one second more..I am coming with you..I just want to tell my Mom and Bree that I will be with you...

 

I will look forward to everyones perspective and comments..

 

Dom, way amazing and perfect chapter again:) Now, I am on pins and needles until Chapter 21arrives, which you said won't be for a while...understandable with work and all..but this chapter...well, major kudos for its beyond brilliant perfection:)

I hope this has taught Quinn a very valuable lesson about the truth. If he's going to stay with Jude, his mother needs to know the truth before someone else comes along to tell her. And tell her with their own spin on the situation.

 

It's always really frustrating when Quinn loses his backbone.

 

And I hope that Marissa isn't going to turn into another ice queen. I can't say I care if someone else stirs up more drama, but it needs to be someone else. The bitchy, jealous girl thing has been done in a DomLuka story already.

 

I'm not saying they need to be friends, but they need to reach an understanding.

Well said and so true!..I was very impressed with Jude's integrity in not wanting to lie and to tell the truth..When I came out, I swore I would be very honest about who I am (it caused me too much pain when in the closet not to be honest about my sexual orientation) Jude is very honest in general and he has consistently told Quinn he won't lie about the fact that he is Gay. I am hoping that Quinn takes that final step with his Mom. Indeed, Jude and he can work on that issue together. Jude has experience with coming out....but I also see that Quinn is becoming more in tune with his feelings and quicker to be perceptive about the feelings of others...so, I am hoping he finds a connection that being honest about his sexual orientation has set him free to live a happier life based on honesty and freedom...and its healthier for him...maybe then he can show his diary to his Mom and also explain to her that he is Gay and the agony he went through about his own self acceptance....It may be a grand leap but now he has support from Bree and he does have Jude...

 

I also am hoping that Quinn will be there for Jude to help Jude through what has to be an emotionally tough and painful situation with Jude's parents....they are now (what appears to me) ending all ties with their son..Jude has been there for Quinn in every way..so I am hoping Quinn steps up to the plate and is there for his boyfriend...fingers crossed..its a growing moment and one where Quinn gets out of his own stuff and helps his boyfriend who is in need of support. (and at this point in the story, I do see Quinn and Jude as boyfriends.)

 

I also hope that Quinn can find a way to deal with Brad and Marissa....it may be tough but it can be done...and I believe Sharon is correct in that Marissa doesn't want it know that her former boyfriend is Gay since she will see it as reflecting badly on her (why would she go out with a Gay guy, is she Gay too..etc) so I believe that Marissa will be willing to "strike a deal" so to speak to find a peace accord with Quinn and leave him be and if Brad and he can begin to talk again..maybe they can find a way to be civil and wish each other the best..even if it means parting ways.

I can't even begin to imagine how embarrasing that was for him to have his mom do that in front of Quinn and Bree. Quinn's mom was only an issue because Jude must have wanted to impress her and be acceptable as Quinn's bf.

 

Hopefully Quinn can get his head out of his ass again and be there for his guy.

I think for the first time, Quinn is showing genuine concern for Jude, and even more, he's in touch with Jude's emotions and moods. The degree of compassion and empathy is considerably higher than he's ever shown with anyone else, even Bree.

 

So I predict that the theme of the story is that as Quinn comes to terms with his homosexuality, he gradually becomes a normal person, and not such an asshole.

Yeah, I think Mar is going to be fine. While Marissa is self-centered (and what teenagers aren't?), Marissa wants to still be friends with Quinn. Quinn said some nasty things to Mar, so it's not all her fault.

 

As far as Marissa meeting Brad, Marissa was friends with Brad too and maybe she was talking to Brad to help get all three of them to be friends again (or she wants to start dating Brad - her plan .

 

Quinn is also realizing that Jude will be needing Quinn's support through this trying time and I think Quinn will be able to step up to the plate.

 

Mrs. Moore has had a couple chances to interact with Jude (and find out what a great guy he is) and now that she knows how evil Jude's mom is, she's going to be much more supportive of Jude. As to whether she'll be Ok with Quinn being Gay and possibly dating Jude? We have another 5-6 chapters to deal with that .

O_o as for the quinn jude thing. how should some one handle that. i mean i dont know what to do in a situation like that lol. i can handle fighting. but how do you deal with a mean parent like that.
