Thanks. Sometimes the bad guys just have to go.

First of all, congratulations on your win...and...umm, as for this chapter, I guess you've cleaned house a bit! I'm not sure about the killing bit, but it's your story after all...and I guess some people are beyond redemption.

It was a riveting chapter, that I can say, as all of your writing is. I can't wait for the next chapter!

Nice work Mark

Yes, I think you're right. If they are killing or threatening your babies ..... You didn't only assemble your troops .... but are managing them very nicely in this battle.

I know the story will end very soon, alas.

I just hope you'll find the right way to continue with a story to keep us longing ad longing for the next chapter.

NDG.

I know it is a "only" a story, albeit a great one, well told, but I am such a wimp where it come to taking life; hiring hitmen is just beyond the pale and pretty-well unjustifiable. But as I noted when I started this comment- it's a story and stories have to have drama, conclusions and a finality that just doesn't exist in RL.

I look forward to the continuing saga!

And now I am confused... (Not the first time)

Did Brad had something to do with Dino or was that ABC? A line from Brad in the dining room tells me he is NOT responsible for Brian's death:

“I suspect he won’t have much to worry about though. Dan and Alexandra could both end up doing time for this one.”

I'm in the same wimpy boat with you and agree with your comments. Brad was my favorite character up until now. Now I don't know???? I do have a couple of kids, so I can relate, but that still pushed my maternal instincts a bit much. And if Carson was merely a tool for Alex, why would his death end any threat to Brad's kids? Then the graphic sex scene with a dying twitching corpse that had it's brains blown out on the bed, really pushed the wow and shock factor. Reading that and I just froze, and then turned off my computer. If Mark's intent was to push the reader's limits to shock he sure succeeded with me.

As as with you, I look forward to the continuing saga.

I anticipated this reaction from some of you, and I understand where you're coming from. Paternal instincts are powerful things; they can lead to unfortunate decisions.

I love the hitmen stuff. One of my favorites is when JP had Jeff's professor killed in CAP.

Are you talking about the guy that wanted JP's office? He wasn't Jeff's professor, and JP didn't have him hit, per se, but that was pretty slick.

Or was it Louie, the guy he met that handled Jason's "problem"?
