I'm a new user, father or 4 children, with a gay son and a daughter who died 3 years ago from AIDS (more than 350 friends were at her funeral). The world here in Switzerland is very gay friendly and my hopes and wishes are that in the States the world should become also gayfriendly as here.

Thanks to Dan to help it with his wonderfull stories. I cannt wait till the next chapter of DIR !

I'm very sorry to hear about your daughter.

I've spent time in Switzerland, and it is indeed very tolerant and friendly. A wonderful place, from which we could learn a great deal.

Hey CJames !

I just re-red DO and DOR, to calm my impatience to read the next chapter of DIR and got a better idea of the narrative lines. It is funny to observe the "time paradoxes" in the way Dan "construct" his stories (for instance Chap. 38/39 of DO). The reader has a lot to do to imagine what happens between the chapters and the bond between reader and writer is much stronger. As we say in French : "Chapeau !! honour to the writer

How long will we wait ........?

As long as it takes because they are worth the wait :worship: but my guess would be Friday night. Dan had a real active writing spurt the end of March the first of April but now he's buried under the avalanche that is his paying job and I haven't received anywhere near the number of chapters to edit that I did at the beginning of the month.

Looking back at emails, I've edited and returned 6 chapters of DIR and 2 chapters of Service this month plus 1 written by DOM. That is a phenomenal amount of output for a writer.

Keep in mind, Dan sets his story posts to match his writing output: when he writes more, he posts faster; when he writes less, he posts slower.

 Or was this question rhetorical? 0:)

:lmao: Yes it was !

Just a sign to say how much I appreciate the writing of Dan. Even the waiting is a pleasure to imagine what could come in the next chapter.

Take it easy, Dan, waiting is our pleasure.
