RIP Aretha Franklin 1942-2018

Aretha Franklin died today at age 76 from pancreatic cancer.  She was a force of nature.

I had just read an article yesterday about Stevie Wonder visiting her in hospice care to give his last goodbye and it was the first I knew of her being ill. She was always a gracious and kind lady with a voice which could uplift a valley into a mountain. She will be missed.
