Write em down ... i am prepping chapter 1 of Changes, Again.  I will post it tomorrow morning ... not, however, at 12:01 am as requested by droughtquake.  LOL

LOL!  You could program it in today and have it post while you are blissfully sleeping in Mikes arms.

venal Audio pronunciation

adjective | VEE-nul

Definition

:
capable of being bought or obtained for money or other valuable consideration : purchasable; especially : open to corrupt influence and especially bribery : mercenary

:
originating in, characterized by, or associated with corrupt bribery

If you are given the choice between acts that are venal and those that are venial, go for the venial. Although the two words look and sound alike, they have very different meanings and histories. Venal demonstrates the adage that anything can be had if the price is high enough and the morals are low enough. That word originated with the Latin venum, which simply referred to something that was sold or for sale. Some of those transactions must have been rather shady because by the mid-1600s, venal had gained the sense of corruption it carries today. Venial sins, on the other hand, are pardonable, the kind that show that everyone makes mistakes sometimes. That forgiving term descends from venia, Latin for "favor," "indulgence," or "pardon."

No, keep seeing people complaining about that. i will set my alarm and get up to post it. i worked too hard and too long to write that to leave it up to some machine.  Nope, i will do it myself.

Much as I hate to say it... you're not wrong. She's my friend, and I care about her. I really do. But she's not fit to take care of another living being. And she wants to be a foster parent... Never gonna happen. Hopefully.

You can always use the post-dating system. I get up early, but do you think I post my chapters at 4 am every week?  As my editor gets done with each one, they get posted and set to go live on the appropriate day.

I used to post mine right before I went to bed on Sunday night, and set it to hit the switch after midnight sometime for Monday morning. That was after a glitch in the post date system that made a chapter go live on me two days early.

Up until my craptop couldn't handle it anymore. By then... I lost about Ƶ250Billion in Interstellar credits---ISK---EVE's in-game currency. One gunship, and one tackler.

My ex girlfriend got me one for Christmas last year. It's a Game of Thrones one. It says, 'I drink and I know things.' Pretty fitting, with my wikibrain...

Speaking of Coffee...

I need to find some.

When the corp I was in imploded, I was the last one left and CEO. I couldn't pay the upkeep on our station, nor control our system by myself. I ended up doing a fire sale, the station, most of the assets, and transferring me and what I kept of my stuff and what I kept not in the fire sale to a more secure spot took me days to do. I had close to Ƶ950Billion, from it all. I

m down to just over Ƶ2Million. Replacing ships, modules and buying game time in-game is expensive.  There's a video that I showed tim and BB about what EVE looks like from a player's perspective, and in one of the scenes is a guy saying he was carrying 100X what his ship was worth, and was being chased. While that wasn't me, its happened to me. After the fire sale, I had to carry enough equipment, that I hired a corp to escort me, back and forth out of my home system.

And while you were saving millions.. i chopped up a whole celery ... froze 3 x 1Cup and have the other two cups for soup and curry today.  We rarely buy celery cuz neither of us like it to eat as is, but we like it in things .. often lots gets thrown out. So this time.. i chopped it all up. It's only good for soups or curry but that's perfect. And no waste.  Time for another coffee and a raisin bran muffin ... :D

Celery is part of the Holy Trinity of Cajun cooking. Onions, Celery, and Bell Peppers. I've also seen it as Onions, Celery, and Carrots. Both make a good base.

Watching Ancient Aliens on History Channel.

It's sooo cold this morning, I had to put socks on. It was in the 40's overnight, high of 60-something today, and then tomorrow we're back up to the near 80's, which we were back on Tuesday before it dipped.

Oh, you poor dear, must be awful. :P

Dipping down to -7C here over the weekend. According to google, that's about 19F. Not too bad. Gonna snow more, too, so that's nice.
