Finally... after a long, drawn-out ordeal, my new story has begun to post.

I went for a long walk in the rain... it was slippery, with ice everywhere, so I walked in the center of the road where it was clear. I had to move to the side when I heard a car come... there was only two on my whole walk... and when that first one passed, a branch broke overhead, and the tip scratched my nose.   It wasn't a really heavy branch, but sometimes I have the worst luck. Or, wait... maybe that was good luck.

Me too... it was really long, but kind of thin, with a lot of ice on it. One of the little leaf branches is what brushed my nose... lucky it wasn't my eyes.
