It's kinda warm here too. Currently 68/20° with 96% humidity in the predawn. We need to endure through today and tomorrow before colder weather returns.

Albert, I hope you and Steve are able to keep warm. I heard you're having record cold.

It's 15°C here. It's a nice change from all the rain and grey clouds we had the last week but it kinda feels weird to be this warm on a january 1st

Greetings Albert. I'm well enough as yesterday's migraine eased during the night. 🤞

Mum and I are planning a quiet day. Watch Penn State play in the Outback Bowl and relaxing. I'm roasting a pork loin and have collard greens reheating in the crock pot. I'll also heat up some sauerkraut and make grits. The pork is traditional both here in the Low Country and back home in PA. The collards and grits are strictly Southern, though typically on New Year's it would be black eyed peas and rice in a dish called Hoppin' John not grits. Sauerkraut is a PA Dutch tradition, not one I particularly care for but with a little apple butter it's not bad.
