Popular Post Headstall Posted April 13, 2023 Popular Post Posted April 13, 2023 Hi, guys. My mare is not looking so good today. She is sunk in in the flanks and seems to be working at pushing air out. Her appetite is good though, and her eyes are clear. She is shedding her winter coat, and that is a good sign too. I brushed her outside for an hour, and there is a carpet of hair on the ground. This vigil is getting me down, I must admit. It is awful to see something so magnificent start deteriorating. But, she can't live forever, and she has regrouped before. Fingers crossed we beat the odds again and she lives another year. It is quite hot out today, but there are no flies or mosquitos to bother her, and that is a blessing. 3 4 2
Popular Post Headstall Posted April 13, 2023 Popular Post Posted April 13, 2023 Saw a rabbit on my walk through my woods. I've seen tons of tracks, but I think this is the first one I've actually seen. It blended so well with the dead leaves, I almost missed it. 7
