Well, I do put a bit of sugar in mine, so I guess it makes sense. My stepdad used to put ginger ale in his... also in his BBQ sauce. :)

I use Hershey's because it's what mum and my grandmothers had in their pantries. About 1/2 Tbls per pound of meat. I also add a bit of coffee.

I used 1 sq of bakers semi sweet chocolate works great :yes: And standard chili spices

I like my chili to be flavorful not just hot. I usually add oregano and thyme and coriander seed.

I use chili power cumin hot sauce  just 1 teaspoon garlic onion fried with the beef :yes:

I've made chili with cocoa powder.  It's very good.  Chocolate and chilies are a great combination. :)
