My brother asked for some southing cream. I ask what for and he showed me a swelling of about 15x5cm at the bottom of his back, just above his right ass cheek. It looks like a swelling after a bug's bite. It's hot and badly swell, skin color in the center and red around with no visible big bite though. Says it hurts.

He says he doesn't remember having been bite this weekend. It started hurting yesterday around lunch time. It looks really bad, I'm a bit worry. I've told his to go show it at a pharmacist tomorrow.

Does your brother know @Drew Espinosa?

Little brother update: thing is really serious. He didn't go to work this morning as it hurts too much. He can't even stand straight! He's gone to drop the truck off at his work and will see if someone there can drive him to the ER cause he can't even drive more than the 4 minute to go to his workplace! If no one can we'll have to call dad or ask the neighbours as I still don't have my car back

Edit: it's an infected cyst. He'll see the surgeon shortly to have it drain and another surgery in 3 months to remove the cyst. No deadly Texan spider pheeew! Though I don't understand how he didn't felt it before it became that big

I'm relieved for you all...  for you and your brother, and family.

What is GCSE? Here in Florida, we don't have the best public schools (at least in this school district, both Dennis and I are thinking of homeschooling or private school.) Where Dennis and I grew up, the school district are good...since Connecticut is rated as one of best state to get an education! (Connecticut has lots of private schools, too.)

GCSEs are the exams kids take at around 16. Those results decide what collage courses/jobs you can apply for.

Hi Xander. I like having Ali off school...mostly...the problem i have this time with her having an extra three weeks off due to construction work at her school is she is going to miss three weeks of classes. When the parents asked the principal at a meeting whether the work would be made up or would they send work home for the kids to do over the holidays we were told no. The work she is doing at the moment at school is going towards her GCSEs and the grades from those decide if she gets into college or the job she wants. I am currently looking up worksheets and other school websites to find work i can set her over the next weeks.

That's a terrible approach on their part! It's their job to keep students up to date. Three weeks is a long time, and I would be pissed too. Hey, Caz.

Maybe if you sat there muttering ... hang 'em, hang 'em all and let the devil sort 'em out ... they would scratch you from the list.

Excellent advice, bro. ;)  G'day, dugh and Thistle.

You never know where you may find Kathy and Peanut! In the last three weeks we have taken him into ( yes inside ) a school board meeting, and to the preschool 4 times now.  We are socializing a little girl with emotional problems who would not interact with anyone outside her immediate family. First day she just played with Peanut, second day we got her into a classroom for 10 minutes, although she tossed a wicked fit and we had to bring Peanut in too. Yesterday and today we told her Peanut had to go to his own classroom, aka my trailer. She still went in with no fits.

Hi, Kitt.  Way to go Peanut! :D
