First hyacinths of spring

They snuck up on me!

Hyacinths are one of my favorite flowers. According to myth, they are the tears of Apollo over the loss of his beloved Spartan Prince Hyacinthus. If you're unfamiliar with the myth, check it out here, Apollo and Hyacinthus.

I would have probably gotten along with the Greeks.
