A wicked witch, an orphan struggling under a curse, a prince struggling under a magic spell, true love -- all your essential fairy tale ingredients brought together in a delightful story.

 

While the story was listed as being based on The Ugly Duckling I saw strains of Beauty and the Beast in the two main characters.

 

I'm glad that William, the faithful and loyal servant, was suitably rewarded -- another fairy tale, within a fairy tale, come true.

As Graeme stated, all the fairy tale's ingredients are there. I like the fact that it actually does not really refer to a story but creates a myth of its own. It is a very moral tale speaking of modern day issues, with births out of wedlock and gay marriage, and the cuteness of the whole set-up makes it really nice to read and not preachy in the least. The naudity issue is a good way to make it innocent and sexy at the same time. Great job.
