  1. I think if I was in a serious and committed relationship with someone, and camming came up as an issue, I would do what I always prescribe to do, just talk to them. Some people might have issues with it, and others wouldnt, and honestly I feel in order for it to be considered cheating the other person needs to a.) Be kept in the dark and b.) not like, agree or approve of the activity. Thus as a result of this, I can't really say if it is or isnt cheating, because it depends on the person you're in the relationship with. However, I do (like Ara) feel that this affords pretty simple global guidelines. If you don't want your partner to find out, its deceitful, and therefore, probably cheating.
  2. I've wondered this also (not just the opening sentence but the entire post ) and haven't really come up with an answer. My best guess would probably be that it lies within a few things, peoples subjective preferences, and in the sliding scale of sexual attraction like you said. Personally I don't find androgyny attractive at all. I realize that people look how they do and its not their fault, but we need to be honest in acknowledging how big a part physical attraction plays in a relationship. I have no problems with androgynous people, and I am good friends with a few, but I don't think I could ever date someone with androgynous features.
  3. Wasnt familiar with him. Did a quick search, and it just seems like a guy who draws porn to me Although he is clearly talented at what he does, I cant say much more beyond that.

    Dirty poll #10

Semen is actually one of my least favourite things in the world. It looks gross, it feels gross, it smells gross, I've never tasted but it probably tastes gross since it has the consistency of snot lol.

  9. I'm fairly certain that the pillars of creation in the M16 nebula no longer exist. I remember reading an article that there was a nearby star which had gone supernova, and effectively obliterated the "brad pitt" of nebulae so to speak edit: Ahh yes, found the article, http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn10925-pillars-of-creation-destroyed-by-supernova.html

  15. Very true James, very true indeed. I would definitely say that the transportation aspect is the greatest hurdle, but you never know. I dont think it will be for awhile though, the scope and scale of space is simply mindboggling. Its hard to build on a scale that you cannot really experience (at least not yet)
  16. So I was watching a show on TLC today, about this young boy Liam Hoekstra, whom according to the program has a condition which has "gifted" him with approximately 40% more muscle mass then average children of his size and age. Now as interesting as it is in itself, it brought up the issue of genetic related discrimination, and the question of where do we draw the line in terms of advantages in sports and competition. The program also mentioned Michael Phelps, saying that he has a genetic condition in which his body is able to get rid of, and deal with lactic acid (one of the main reasons behind muscle fatigue and the 'burning' sensation) much quicker and efficiently than most people. It went on to say that as a result of this many people have questioned how much this genetic advantage contributed to Phelps seemingly endless list of achievements in the pool. It really is an interesting thought, with no simple answer. So what do you guys think? When does luck of the genetic draw turn into an unfair advantage? As a side note, I dont anticipate that this will turn into a superheated discussion or anything, but if it does obviously, I'd ask a mod to move it to the soapbox

  21. I fail to see how this equates to the idea that one can sing away their problems. If anything its a demonstration that you don't always need to nuke someone to achieve some form of progress or resolution. Well I can agree with you that it seems the "church" still attained a slight victory here in the sense that they are getting media attention once again from the incident. However it seems pretty obvious that the goal of the highschool was to search for a non-violent solution to the situation. Clearly it would be easier to just beat them all up, but that doesn't solve much beyond creating a grey zone for ones rights. Its hard to run an even slightly sometimes fair society when you make exceptions all over that place. But, I'm sure you already knew that.
  22. Happy birthday drewbie!
  23. Happy birthday Kia!
