  1. Well I dont know about everyone else, but personally a change from all the terrible news is nice. This site Gives me hope. Hopefully it does for you guys too
  2. Blue, purple and shades/hues of the two. For blue Copenhagen Blue is my favourite. For purple really saturated , medium brightness shades are my favourite. Also everyone posting their favourite colours, IN their favourite colours reminds me of the thing you do, where your supposed to say what colours each word is written in, not what the word itself is. Its harder than it seems For example, say out loud, what colours the following words are written (typed in) Green Yellow Purple Blue Brown Silver How'd it go?
  3. Happy birthday man!
  4. While it doesnt really mean anything to me because I never liked slipknot, its always unfortunate when the world loses someone of real talent, musical or otherwise. Thats not to say that it isnt unfortunate when the world loses someone of general abilities either, but you know what I mean. Hopefully his family/close friends etc are doing okay.
  5. *Karate Chops*
  6. Werd. Also to agree with Cia, people who touch me when I dont want it are gonna get karate chopped. Dont ever touch my face :| Unless we're smexing
  7. No not really. I find most people have learned that it isnt a bad idea to have some sort of plan to things, to make sure it goes smoothly. Either that or I take charge and plan it myself. Not a big deal overall. You know it is possible to be both laid back and organized lol. Just because people like that annoy me doesnt mean I have a high tolerance for it I could care less what someone does with their own life. Its only when other peoples laziness or refusal to plan out some event or occurance interferes with my life that I have a problem with it. Besides that it means nothing to me if you wanna go be a freespirited hippy in the woods lol.
  8. Happy birthday perv!
  9. What are yours? Or what is a surefire way to annoy you? Recent events in my life have led me to post this thread just out of curiosity 1. People who complain about something, while making zero effort to change it. 2. People who break my trust, or abuse my kindness. 3. When people pretend to be my friend, when they actually dislike me. Whats the point? just tell me you dont like me, and we can stop being "friends". Works for me lol 4. People who are too "free spirited". I'm kind of a scheduling hardass. I like to have a good portion of events planned in advance. People who would rather "go with the flow" make me pull my hair out. 5. People acting stupid on purpose (for reasons beyond being funny or something) Besides that I'm pretty laid back and easy to get along with. What about you? Gogogo!
  10. I wouldnt take it seriously at first, but wouldn't put it out of the realm of possibility that this person is like that. Some people are very specific in what they're looking for, and the traditional dating scene being full of mindgames and guessing probably doesnt appeal to this individual. Anyways I'd say just step tentatively until you figure out what the situation is, ie, if there are ulterior motives or not.
  11. Lol way to resurrect this topic greg top 1. Fantastic Mr. Fox
  12. The only people you need in your life, are the people who need you in theirs. - some person sometime
  13. Its interesting that you should mention this as I had an entirely different experience in school. My discomfort with my schooling came from being I guess what one might call "unusually mature" for my age. I had no interest in the shenanigans of people my age, and often found it difficult to find people whom I could comfortably related to. I feel this would have intensified in an all boys setting, as for the most part it was the males I went to school with who made things unsavoury. In my schooling career I always recieved tons of awknowledgement and accolades for my academic achievements (no alliteration intended ) as did many other boys I was schooled with. There were of course the bright girls in the class, and they recieved their share as well. Long story short I'm thinking that the issue you described could be present in the teaching methodologies/ideologies of educators in your city/country/region, versus an inherent flaw in the co-ed system of education. Conservative and traditionalist ideals (the variety of which are negative in impact) will of course be present everywhere in some form. Selectively hiring and monitoring teachers, along with pro-active involvement of the parents and students in providing feedback to the educational institution would probably be ideal, to reducing such instances. Just my thoughts on your feelings
  14. No thankfully I can say I havent ever pursued it. I've entertained the thought a few times in my life, but its never really been a serious option to me. Always like, well I could do that, without any real weight behind the idea. I find theres way to much of what I dont like in suicide (besides the obvious dying consequence) for me to ever really bring myself to a level which would allow me to even attempt to commit it. I've never been one to self-mutilate/cause self-harm either (at least on purpose, some of my earlier drinking days might say otherwise.) I never found the sense in it to be completely honest. Please dont mistake me when I say this however, I dont feel that people who do cut or w/e are stupid. Its definitely not a good idea, but there are things going on in their head which are clearly not correct (whatever those conditions may be.) I've never been able to think up a rational reason to hurt myself, and as a person of reason and logic rather than emotions and feelings, I simply cant do it. I do know a couple people whom have seriously contemplated suicide, and knew a couple people who caused self inflicted injury. All of them were deeply emotionally connected people, and I do not think this is coincidence. As a side note, there have been alot of suicide related posts and threads as of late S: I wonder whats causing the uprise.
  15. LOL omgosh. And your avatar is perfect for the situation too. Facepalm Anyways the other unnecessary censors are good too haha
  16. Sure, I think I could go for some douw
  17. While I doubt the truthfullness of that story it is true nonetheless, people should be loved, and when you put objects before people in your life, there are issues which need to be dealt with. On a side note, I hardly ever read these things
  18. The writers of that game were far beyond genius lol. lovve ittttt
  19. Aww Douw the one on the right is cute :B 6 packs are overrated
  20. I actually lawled saw the video title haha Back in the day, I used to think The Christmas Shoes by Newsong was pretty sad. It still is lol. http://www.youtube.c...feature=related "Sir I wanna buy these shoes, For my momma please. Its christmas eve, and these shoes are just her size. Could you hurry sir, daddy says theres not much time, you see She's been sick for quite a while, and I, Know these shoes will make her smile, and I, Want her to look beautiful, if momma meets Jesus, tonight" :'( Thats probably the closest a song has come to making me cry. I guess I'm just a robot.
  21. Happy birthday mr myr
  22. Pretty much agree with everything you said in this post, so to make my post smaller, I just quoted less haha.
  23. canned corn is my enemy for life. I'm way pickier however, about the presentation of my food, versus the actual content. Usually as long as it doesnt resemble anything unsavoury, I'm good.
  24. Shower. If my muscles are really giving me grief, I hit the huttub, followed by the shower
  25. Happy birthday DC!
