    Memories

Sweeeet! Now all we have to do is off the old man who should be driving up the driveway right now just in time to see them swallowing each other's molers. I think then that he should go to the barn to get his shotgun and have Elder trample him. Not enough to kill him, just enough that all the broken bones will incapacitate him and let him die a slow miserable death from the infection that will set in. And of course mo one can identify which horse did it and they are all calm now so that anyone can walk up to any of them. So they chalk it up to a riding accident and a spooked horse. then they can live happily ever after. Well I like it anyways. But I think you have a slow worse than death tortuous ending for this one. Mom's hiring Otis for her lawyer. that way she'll get the elevator and he'll get the shaft. A great chapter. Full of the love we always wanted them to find. but what about walker? He loves Billy too. A love triangle? Perhaps. Maybe he'll fill in when David has to leave. So get on with it and don't make us wait so long. Well done. r

    Chapter 11

I think Granger is going to unleash his secret deadly weapon. :2hands: Caroline! But how will he get word to her ahead of anyone else? Gilbralter is 1092 miles from London. Hmmm, a puzzle. A carrier Pidgeon? A hot air balloon? Smoke signals? We'll have to tune into the next episode to find out. And it certainly appears that Chartley was a "close" friend of Berties. Maybe VERY close. He knows of ways of the family Granger, everyone screws someone. And some, more than others, and apparently Freddie does it without even a kiss! Perhaps Chartley has charted a course to Mount Granger. It's a suburb of London I think. Well played Mark. I love this series and each chapter by your hand is like a fine sweet brandy that leaves you momentarily breathless. I want to write like you when I grow up. Shit! I'm too late!

    The Pieces Never Fit

Um, I don't know if I can do this one. A little too close to home. But your writing is good. I may give it one more chapter but I may bail if it is going where I think it is.

    Chapter 10

Another fantastic chapter Mark. Well played. I liked that Winkler got a little testy. It was a nice touch and fleshes him out a little more and shows that he too is getting a bit older and more sure of himself. Now this bit with Chartley and the family. What has Freddie gone and done? How will it affect the family especially at court? Any way it goes, there are rough seas ahead. :2hands:

    Chapter 8

Sounds like he would be well off to trade Chartley for Perkins given the chance. Perkins would be a good addition to the crew, but then again, you said Granger had bigger things to be concerned with besides the two walnut looking lobes of his brain. I don't suppose he will be lucky enough to lose Chartley overboard en-route? It will suck having his quarters shared with such a stuffed shirt. Nice that Jeffers and Winkler are finding some new ways to enjoy themselves. It's even more amazing that they can find the privacy to do ANYTHING on-board a shit the size of Belvidera . At least without an audience. I think having Chartley onboard requires the deck showers to be rigged and the scoundrel made to scrub his wrinkly ass with everyone else, just for the humiliation of it. I know, I know, social status and all that. But a boy can dream right? Somehow I feel a rat has been brought into the boudoir! (I added the emoticon, because WE as reviewers, CAN.) Nice chapter Mark. Great story. Loving every minute of it.

    Chapter 7

Another adventure! And a shot across his moral bow! Perkins seems to be a perky little devil. I wonder how Granger will receive him on board. I wonder? Is the captain still in danger of a sodomy charge if he is the one taking it in the rear, admirably? (Pardon the pun, I couldn't help myself.) I do like how Jeffers is becoming increasingly horny, er um, I mean friendly. Still, there appears to be much ahead of them. Perhaps the French Marines will give them a bit of it when they make sail and get up the coast a bit. Delightful chapter Mark. Well done as always. Cheers, r

    Ode to the Taint

Mark, I think you could make a menu an enjoyable read. The poem reeks of heavenly bliss, gentle flavors and the erotic intent. If I wasn't old and fat I'd be tempted to send you an application for the next stanza. But I'll settle for the textual tastes you care enough to share with the world. Few realize how difficult it is to make complete pictures with so few words. I do and have found great appreciation in this and ALL of your writing. You apply the same philosophy in your stories which is why they are so packed with emotions, sights and sounds, colors and flavors. No words are there as fillers. Every syllable adds to the story or picture. Well done. r

    Chapter 6

An awesome chapter. Sad for Darby. I hope Lennox can sooth his ruffled feathers. It was good to see the name of Lennox again. I mis the lad. As for the action, I love it when Granger overwhelms his enemy with his self confidence. It shall be interesting to see how the council of 30 react to his request. And will the privateer think he can take a prize on his way out? He must see his trough of duckets being hoisted into a gig as his services will no longer be needed if there is nothing to protect. And perhaps he will see a chance to gain status, I mean how many men have the opportunity to take Granger out? That would be quite the trophy wouldn't it? Even if done covertly or under a flag of truce. The Spanish wouldn't care how he was gone, just that he was indeed gone. The stories always become inflated and he has to be near god like to some. A great story Mark. Thanks so very much for it. Cheers, r

    Chapter 1

A fantastic beginning. I think it is really well written if not a little depressing. I hope there is some happiness in store for this man who is in obvious pain. It's well written. Perhaps not my topic as I read to escape life's miseries. But it is well done.

    Chapter 4

Hey! You didn't kill him. He . . . just . . . died. That happens sometimes. You gitta write it as it comes to you or you risk pissing off the muse. Never a good idea. The chapter was wonderfully sad. But enter Mr. Darby . . . figuratively of course.

    Chapter 1

A truly touching story. I was a little put off by all the fur as i prefer a shaved tail but got past it and loved the emotion brought forward. Merry Christmas indeed. A great story that instills hope in the lonely and confidence in the searching. Well done. r

    Chapter 10

OK, who gave who lessons in angst? Cosmie or you? A whole new meaning to fickle. Loved every minute of it. Would have liked to see it carry on to the coming out at home. A great story. Thanks. r

    Chapter 1

Another great write cosmie. Going to check now and see if there is a long overdo new chapter to "A Class Of His Own." I'd love to know how you keep all the open story lines going in your head.

    Chapter 1

O.o What, you couldn't stretch that into a couple hundred chapters? Losing your touch man. Seriously, I have one thing to say. Did you know squirrels are immune to rabies? Lucky thing too or this might had had a completely different ending! ROTFLMAO, just the look on your face when you read that. Waaay too funny. Thanks, I needed a smile.

    Chapter 3

perhaps mr darby was a companion for travers. another moving chapter albeit a sad one. well done
  17. Fantastic. A truly loving tribute.
  18. I knew it! You ARE a romantic at heart. Shhh, I know, you have a reputation to maintain. Giggles
  19. Did I say that you took the LAST one to the edge? I thought you were a romantic! DAMN! One chapter for redemption. Just one!
  20. omg, just run it too the edge why don't ya. Geeeze!
  21. ok< you're back in my good graces. . . For now. But I hope that by the end of the story, both faith and the master, are dealt with! Remember that I'm a romantic. The second story is expected to be all honey and roses. Ok, maybe a vampire or two. But the rest, wholesome "Little House on the Prairie" kind of wholesomeness. Got it? Geeze, you scare me sometimes. Twisted, I expected . . . But this is a little on the scary side. Probably because 22 years as a detective specializing in child recovery, I know these kinds of folks exist. Probably more tears over this story than most. You are very insightful. Scarily so.

    Chapter 1

A fantastic beginning Mark. The question sir is first, will Mr. Elijah Ramsey or midshipmen Albert Villiers find out about Granger's proclivities? And Second, if so, what will they do with such knowledge? And can Caroline deal with any flack that occurs from it? Unfortunately you will tell me that young Villers, being the son of a Lord, will not likely find himself kissing the gunnar's daughter. We shall see the boy he is, very soon. Will he be spoiled or eager to serve and to learn? But what shall he say to his mother of the things he leans? What worries me most is Fox's twinkle at Granger's comments regarding Admiral Mann. He is up to something and let's hope that Ramsey is not of his ilk or persuasion. He may have to be lost at sea or dumped into a Spanish ship during a scuffle. It is a given that Granger will not be able to be as free with his sexual release as he has been up to now. One thing is an absolute. This story continues to be of classic quality and one of my favorites anywhere on the net or in print. Thank you for your commitment to your readers and for sharing this rare gift of adventure. ricky
  23. This is getting depressing. I'll go on because I know there is a part two so they must survive.
  24. Oh shit. I didn't see that one coming. can I use the "f" word here or will the review police step in? :2hands: A Battle Royal I hope.
  25. A great chapter. And oh, oh. A fly is in the pudding for sure now. And firey eyes? Is silver reversing his role to that of his abductors? Did the doctor see the painting? Lot's to learn.
