Haha Andy, after the 'gory' chapter do you think you should be linking to things like that? Thanks, I am trying to keep things fresh and not 'rinse and repeat' things as that would get boring. As for the scenery and the world, I'm constantly thinking in the back of my mind 'I know what it looks like but my reader doesn't so I need to pause and make sure they get a feel for what I see', so I'm glad that's paying off The to work on: hehe, I'll try and remember that when I'm writing. my handwriting is more towards cursive and unless using capitals I cannot stand unjoined up handwriting lol I think cursive handwriting is a nice style and I would be sad if it disappeared.

It really depends on what you want out of it If you want to learn a martial art whilst learning self defence then one of the other traditional ones might be good. If you want something firmly embedded in self defence go with something like Andy's option. Look at different styles and also talk to the instructors, ask questions, make sure what they offer is what you want Im biased because of the two i do but make sure it suits you, that's the best advice I can give

thanks Bleu War is an ugly beast and I hope I can portray that well enough in the coming chapters. to be honest Asenshi wasn't going to be included much more, but it may come into play somewhere else in future projects And yeah meet the parents scene will be fun to write and hopefully to read thanks Bleu!
