  1. Best wishes, Krysta! *huggle*
  2. I've sort of given up on praying. I still try it once in a while, but it never works out like I need it to--and I only do it when I really, really need something instead of for every willy nilly so you'd think someone up there might listen. I don't really direct it at any specific power of deity because you really never know which one (if any) is really out there, so a general shout at the heavens is nice. I guess, if anything, it lets me blow off steam since there aren't many real people I can do that with (and sadly, multiple blogs just don't cover all of it. I'm a proper boiler sometimes).
  3. No one in my "home"* community knows, but where I'm staying for the moment, some people know and where I'm going some know, most importantly everyone I'm staying with, because they're my awesome friends. I'm also mostly out on the internet, but that's different. "home"* birth place/where I was raised, but not really home.
  4. This, exactly. Because someone has a trait to be the best at something is all the MORE reason to challenge them, really. Push them and ourselves to everyone's limits, and if they end the game still top dog, then the losers have the satisfaction of knowing they lost giving it their all instead of the partial-satisfaction of beating people not better than they are. That's why I love to join in on art contests. I'm far from the greatest out there, and I rarely even place, but when I do it's an amazing feeling because I KNOW I earned it, it's not a half-hearted attempt among others of my own league, but something where people far beyond my level can join in and I strive to compete with THEM rather than settle for something less where I stand a better chance. I guess, in short, without challenge, we don't grow--or, as better stated by one of my favourite fandoms "Only pressure makes diamonds, ease begets decay" /rambling post is rambly
  5. Already said it in chat to you, but Happy Birthday!
  6. Hey this should be my day too! Good thing I'm not at home until supper
  7. I'm a bit of a completionist when it comes to my nerd stuff so...I am morally required to see this Though I might be a little bit excited. Maybe.
  8. I have to admit, this is kinda lulzy for me, but I've never really understood all the celeb fuss. Let the kid kiss who he wants! Anyone that started snapping pics of a non-famous person kissing someone would be considered a creep, so what's the difference? Honestly, I've never gotten that. People kiss, but I know for a fact I've never gotten on the news for it. Maybe I should try harder!
  9. Personally, I loved both those poems. They were both hilarious but had meaning to them too. Makes me sad that people would whine about such good work.
  10. Hey gorgeous you look familiar... A little bit like this handsome fellow... Well, not that much really, but...yeah, I'd better shut up now >_>

    Hi

    Hey, welcome aboard!
  12. Happy birthday, Tomon!
  13. Jay decided not to use the hair dryer and straightener last night:
  14. I have an asexual friend who believes himself to be gay as well, so yes. He feels romantic love for guys and likes to cuddle with them, he just has no interest in sex
  15. I rather enjoy poetry =/ makes me sad that it's losing its popularity.
  16. Ooooo, Soup, you're pretty!
  17. Friended the second one XD
  18. lmao, agreed with Arbour, how can we *not* have it if Scotty told us all about it? Hmmm...$10/in.2? Might have to make me some invisible body armour if I ever get rich Seriously, that'd be sweeeeeeet. Transparent Master Chief armour. Oh yeah.
  19. Loving those curls Matty Wish mine would look like that! But nuuuuu I have stupid curls that refuse to do anything but straighten... And no, the red is dyed in. My natural colour is a dark, ashy brown. Very grey-based, virtually no natural red. Which makes me look like a corpse. So yeah, Cinnaberry Red dye plzthx
  20. Easy, actually, even if it's not required here if you do it tastefully and without much detail. ---> living example. Kissed and snuggled, but haven't made that last leap yet and I'm 19! Have my reasons though so merr. Anyway, it really isn't all that hard to find the rules for stuff on your own, but it requires reading threat titles on the top halves of the first pages in the sections you want to know about. Contrary to popular belief, it takes less time than asking others for the rules. I'll admit GA can be a little confusing, but hey, I haven't been here that long and I'm slowly figuring everything out!

  22. Um...do you even read the posts? Lugh definitely did not say that Alice owned Wonderland. To be perfectly honest, this thread is starting to creep me out, let alone confuse me beyond all cognitive function, so I'm gonna let your guys have the sandbox to yourselves.
  23. So wait, is this topic about ice cream or sex or... I'm so confused. If it's about ice cream...huh. Chocolate is the norm? I was raised to think chocolate was the "girly" flavour. No self=respecting boy ate chocolate ice cream That being said, I don't eat ice cream. I have milk allergies that make that impossible.
  24. Happy Birthday!
