Nopers, got a full night's. The person below me hasn't any bread.

LOL the lie is number 2, that Hot Topic is my favourite store. Great guess, but the items that I do buy in bulk are non-perishables like paper-towels, toilet paper, and primarily WATER. I have to buy water in bulk because I drink like 2-3 gallon jugs a day, plus at least 3 or 4 bottles. So if I didn't buy in bulk I wouldn't have time for anything else but buying water. You're right about the guess, but actually I love Hot Topic! It's just that Express for Men slightly edges it out. I wear quite a few different styles. LOL, and I definitely have a kinky lil punky side All excellent suppositions and quite true. LOL, nope it doesn't, but it facilitates more time to explore the addiction in more enjoyable ways Hehe, okay someone else's turn to make one up! Have an awesome day all! Kevin

I doubt you're the only mechanically inept person here, Graeme; although I wouldn't describe myself that way. I don't really mess with tools all that often, but there's definitely a do-it-yourself streak in me. LOL, I use my cordless drill semi-often I think people need more fiber in their diets!

Happy Birthday, Luc!! I hope it's super special and may the coming year be filled with all the happiness and joy that you deserve!! -Kevin

***grabs him*** ***looks closely*** OHHH, didn't think I'd see you in here! Personally I sort of believe in soulmates. I think it's more like there's quite a few potential "good matches" for everyone. Sometimes your soulmate might not be the right person at the right time. In general though, Jamie is definitely correct: relationships take work! The person below me kept wanting to make up a "Person below me" line, until he/she realized it was the wrong game.

I often wish on stars. It's always the same wish: general happiness, health, and prosperity for myself and those I care about. LOL, and I've been making this same wish since I was a small child. Must be working, we're doing okay GRRR Now my typos will be recorded in this thread forever! LOL, I really should have thought harder about that before I created the "no editing" rule, but editing and viewing past pages raises the views count (without raising the post count) LOL, I hadn't noticed my "resonding" error, I was more upset about the fact that I probably should have entitled this game "The Magical thread". I hope no one else notices my typos or the fact that in other threads 90% of my posts tend to be edited (and often re-edited).

"Help me believe, it's not the real me"

Thanks! I'm a tad nervous but I figured I'd might as well try it! -
Hi all, Okay so I thought it would be fun to create a new game and looking at the forum topics I was struck by the disparity between the number of views a topic has and the number of posts it has. Obviously this is somewhat unavoidable given that guests will often read a topic and be unable to respond. However, I'm convinced that the majority of this comes from "lurkes", and people "chickening out" with responses. So in order to both create a fun, new little game, and to get people out of their shells, I'm starting this new game! Object of the game: To bring this thread to 1,000 responses BEFORE it gets to 7,000 views. This should be tough but not impossible. The most heavily responded to thread per views seems to be "This or That" which is currently about 50 posts away from 1,000, and just under 9,000 in views. So it's at about 1 post per 9 views. We're going for 1 per 7. How the game is played: If you read the thread you MUST respond to it. Otherwise you're just being a bad sport . So if you don't intend to respond (or don't feel like responding just then), don't view the thread! To play simply: read the post above you (or even just skim it) pose any kind of non-offensive comment, question, observation, etc. about it. Then ideally continue the conversation or at least make sure that you've given the person coming after you enough to comment on. If the person above you fails to provide enough information to comment on, then either look to the prior comments on the same page, or simply make some random comment, question, observation or whatever yourself. [/b] ***try to avoid going back to prior pages*** ***try to avoid editing your posts*** Valid posts: ANYTHING that doesn't violate GA Posting Guidelines (scroll down FAQ to read). This thread has no "topic" per se, so feel free to ramble on about anything. Just avoid: Discussing religion Discussing politics Using vulgarities Gossiping about other members Attacking other members Generally being: rude, offensive, or vulgar (this includes sexual behaviour) ***Use common sense. This game still takes place in "The Lounge" so if your post is inappropriate elsewhere in "The Lounge", don't make it in this thread either*** Example of how the game might be played: -My favourite colour is blue -Blue's nice, but Green is better -Snowpeas are green -I don't like snowpeas, I prefer carrots -I eat carrots every day on my way to work. I'm currently working for a carrot farmer. He hates it when I eat the crops. He used to plant snowpeas too. Then one day this big storm came and washed them all away. Now he plants carrots. OKAY, so let's get started! What do you guys think about this game?

LOL, this is obviously my cue! The person below me needs to mail something

Hmm, yeah I think people would cheat too (or not be able to avoid it), and I think it would cut down on people's guesses, which is one of the funnest parts. Great idea though! I woulda guessed that number 3 was the lie! It's a pity you don't want to marry, Jamie. I think you'd make some lucky guy a great husband someday I'll do a new one. LOL, and I'll use one of my favourite themes: Shopping! 1) Of the last four items I've purchased three of them weren't for me. 2) Hot Topic is my favourite clothing store. 3) I like to buy in bulk.
-
Sounds really hot to me!! Hmm, I guess I have a preference for angular, but it depends on the person. Blondes or something else
-
Well it's not completely off-topic since we're discussing faces I just thought it was Menzo himself, and I've been thinking for the past several days "WOW! He's HOT!"

Thank goodness the post really did turn out to be about "pulling faces". When I read the title, and subtitle (secrets of the bathroom). I had my fears that the word "faces" was misspelled. LOL, I would laugh at the concept of putting on eyeshadow and foundation...then I realised I've done it (well not eyeshadow, eyeliner when I was going for an enhancement to my punky/goth look) and still occassionally use a bit of concealor/skin toner. My experience with shaving though is that it definitely encourages some funny faces; I've often stopped and giggled at myself. Undoubtedly as a child I did purposely make funny faces in the mirror...well probably much more recently than that. But I'm the sort of person for whom such an event wouldn't leave a lasting impression, so I can't recall exactly. Take care all and have a great day! Kevin

LOL, but at the rate you're going I expect you to pass me eventually. If I remember correctly Robbie (RK) was once very far out of my reach with regards to number of posts.

LOL, fine you guys made me look it up! Here's the section I was referring to, I was paraphrasing, and I knew at the time I wasn't exactly using the same words, but what I meant was: -

Oh my gosh!! Yes!! I loved those! I've only ever seen two episodes of that, but they were quite good. I'd really like to see the rest!

Don't try to make sense of this blog in the order in which it appears. Each paragraph is pretty much random and self-contained. I got that new job. *sigh* It's insurance again, this time life. At least I'll be able to jump in more quickly this time since I still have my active license from last time. I start training Monday, the following Monday I'm supposed to go with someone out on the field, then the Monday after that I'll be on my own. I'm not completely sure how I feel about it. I'm definitely ready to leave my old job, and I think I need the change. Anyway, it might work out well and I'd might as well give it a shot I suppose. I found out something a bit shocking the other day at work (old job). It turns out one of my co-workers, who's engaged (to a guy), is falling in love with the female upstairs neighbour of one of our other coworkers  Looks like things could get a bit unpleasant for everyone involved . LOL, it's times like these I wonder if anyone's straight anymore. Dontcha just hate it when people give your number to other people without consulting you first? So yeah, that happened to me and now...blah, just kinda sucks. I wanted to move on from this particular bit of my past and it's a lot harder, if not impossible now. One thing I'm concerned about is that when I leave the old job I'll quit having daily opportunities to use my Spanish. I'm still not very good, but I was getting considerably better. LOL, in fact like three seperate people at work asked if I'd just started seeing an Hispanic guy...and one of them wouldn't believe me when I said I wasn't. haha Turns out I like the band Three Days Grace. I hadn't quite realized that I was a fan until I found myself downloading yet another song by them that I really like: "Animal I Have Become". I was absolutely hooked on "Pain" before that, and their older stuff was quite good too. LOL, so I guess I'm a fan. I think I'm addicted to self-improvement (or at least attempting it). Actually I probably have been pretty much since my early teens. In fact I have no doubt that my frequent trolling around the self-improvement aisles of bookstores is what ultimately sparked my interest in psychology (they tended to be next to each other). Anyway I suspect I'll never stop trying to look better, be healthier, smarter, kinder, and all around better. Fortunately my vices keep my from going off the deep end I saw both the new Spiderman movie, and the new Pirates movie. They were both really good and I recommend both, but oh my gosh!!! Spiderman was SOOOOO good. I mean I liked the first two, but IMO this last one just blows them outta the water. LOL and there was no shortage of eye candy in this movie either! Peter's new newspaper rival is like the epitome of what I consider "my type" (only it's nice if they aren't evil too ). Harry is as adorable as ever, and Toby Mcguire himself is so much cutier with those bangs in his face. LOL, and apart from all that it was actually a really good, exciting, dramatic movie too! Anyway, I guess that's about it for now, Take care all and have a great day! Kevin

Hi all, I thought it might be fun to make predictions about who'll end up with whom! I think Dennis and Travis are going to be a couple Owen and Aiden will get back together Lacy and Ryan will get back together (after Lacy and Chris date for awhile) And Valentine will get a bath, two daddies, and a special treat! Feel free to list other possibilities, explain your reasons, are suggest pairing for people/animals not on the list! Take care all and have an awesome day! Kevin
