Hmmm, where were we? Ranevargar is still less than whole now, but has recovered much he lost in his overextended efforts to secure Maurice in stasis. With the return of much of his long lost memories and lordly knowledge from Maurice, Ranevargar has much more confidence in facing Maynor. Yet Ranevargar and other lords of the Realms still remain perplexed with much of Kieran’s abilities to call upon and weave the nexus energies; with a stone yet unknown to them. From within the ancient castle fortress of the dead realm, Kieran calls upon the Pearl, then calls upon the Opal; calls falling short of the vast energies required to animate Maurice. So Kieran calls again, to double his efforts, with those calls Kieran has to step up his mastery of weaving power to restore Maurice’s powers. It appears the Opal recognized its home and the high calls of Kieran; the call is answered but not before the big reorganization and rebalancing of the nexus which now yields a purer nexus energy. The high king and lords now bear witness to the return of nexus purity elusive to all but the ancients; times when the adepts created the Realms and Realm Stones. Powers lost and mostly all but forgotten. To heal and restore Maurice’s functionality in time to rescue Ranevargar before the manic Maynor can apply forces sure to break him, Kieran must call again for power. The calls answered, but not without Kieran bringing forth an insistent call for energies; getting that not of the Pearl, not of the Opal, not of the nexus either, but of the realms? It appears Kieran and the companions have been found worthy and pure guardian Angeles of the Realms.

Well now, Steve Miller would be so proud..."Well met, my pompatus Guardian. My heart rejoices with your safe recovery." What a wonderful application of the only single word capable of defining MAURICE!

While I knew your story was new to me, I actually forgot it was was your only story on GA. Now you profess it to be your only published or shared work; bravo. The ability to take thoughts and emotions of the heart, put them into words in such a way as to have others adopt the characters and their emotions as real, is a huge credit to your writing skills. Thanks for sharing The Calculus Connection. I throughly enjoyed your tale and hope you’ll have more to share soon.

Congrats, I’m so happy for you. The technology issues are so frustrating when robbing you of such time and effort; been there too often.

Late to class, no wonder it confused you! lol 🤭😉

I wish we could understand the equivalent maturity of Chomper in his development, but it seems all concerned are learning by observation. The blend of human / alien dragon instincts are sure to provide some unexpected “entertainment” again soon!

WHAT? NEVER say never or it’s too late, CIA is just thinking about adding any time now...she will...some time soon... I’m sure? I hope?

Aiden is honorable enough to feel betrayed himself, and knows the honorable thing for Heath is to expose the toad and their company for what it is and what they’ve done. But then the shame... this means (in Aiden’s mind): Heath was really correct and Aiden really wasn’t getting a promotion, Aiden wouldn’t let himself see or believe many truths as he blindly pursued that promotion carrot 🥕; he really is a failure and the one person he’s learned to love has now been ruined by his own actions. Bad, bad, bunny! Such shame and humiliation...ring the bell and leave...Heath is better without him. I have faith in Heath and his methods to release that information and use the support given by Aiden; this will expose the Toad and the Health Shakers while exonerating not only Heath but Aiden as a whistle blower to a deceptive management, and most likely company; contracts be damned, as the misrepresentation in itself has breached any legal binding agreement and risked the health of many by such greed. Heath has to act fast, Aiden has a running start but is now about to be swept away by the tidal surges he is now partly responsible for, within the health drink market and emotionally with his ex-boyfriend; he didn’t chose the company over Heath.! Heath will have to be quick as the bunny runs wild, in his own panic driven circle ⭕️, in disparate need of claiming....ahem...calming. -
A great story with lots of twists and turns, from tears of pain to tears of joy, your story brought it all to play. Thank you so much for sharing your talents and alter self with us all. Consider yourself hugged in sincere appreciation. 🥰

Chomper understand, fire dangerous, fire bite, fire sting, fire special, me train, me teach, me like!

I promise, my hands are not shaking, the earth is not quaking, it just duplicated (all night long) on it own. 🤷♂️

No problem, Dathi. As Palantir brings Maurice’s personality forward the song plays even louder in my mind; though I doubt Maynor will hear the same tune! Take care, Philippe

Maurice does seem to be a joker, and Rhys would probably lay out the pun of a smoking introduction, as to the toker...Maurice is certainly hooked on the energy he’s a stoner for; I guess the 70’s kinda fits Maurice in more than name! 😳

Laura, you’re most welcome. Even I appreciate tomatoes 🍅, in fact, your twisted and frustrating storyline has made me reflect on the value of tomatoes. For instance, ketchup is important to our youth as they “learn” the many benefits of this wonderful fruit. Since twisted is the way you present your storyline, and the pleasure of your stories evoke similar feelings, please take a moment to enjoy The Ketchup Effect: Yup, just like another chapter of a Laura S. Fox story. 😂 As to the reference of two idiots, neither you nor I need join those ranks as, your “leading men” (that is oxymoronic at this point) have those billets tied up and most secure. -
Yes indeed, but now with increased confidence to protect those memories and a critical need for a better understanding of their situation, it would appear a very favorable risk to take by giving the memories back. The shift in the Nexus energy, both use and clarity, but even more importantly who restructured the Nexus energies and distribution for he himself doesn’t understand that level of manipulation; the sense of awe was underlying his emotions. Yet something so far beyond him left him more still more concerned with Maynor. Did he sense the same feel or signature as the power and shields of Kieran? Or does his limitations give him the more vague sense of purity in purpose? In any case, the restructuring helped buy him time and returned precious energy to fortify the defenses.

My apologies, the uncle. 🤭 Believe me when I say this posted a little passed the mid point of my eight hour drive from visiting family. I took a break and read the chapter!

Drinks And Trolls Won’t Break My Bones

When I was growing up, water came from the spring fed well, fresh chicken meant boil water and pluck, and everyone had vegetable gardens. Now real estate agents and home owners associations would have you cited for nuisances with an unsightly garden and noisy chickens. The water boards need the revenues so no wells is the rule to better protect...their revenues. So people line up to buy “fresh” chicken that was killed days earlier and shipped to broad areas of distribution; the chicken itself can be labeled with whatever label sells best. Bottle water is in high demand as water boards have fallen from confidence but the old rules on personal wells can’t be reversed as that would imply they lied when they made the rules and we still need a potable water delivery systems. Does anyone have the numbers to the inspectors for bottled water quality control? Oh, wait it’s not regulated and may be from a tap itself. Sorry, I’m in a sinister mood. 🤑 -
