Lisa replied to TalonRider's topic in The Lounge
Oh shit Ron, I'm so, so sorry!!!! I should have put a spoiler alert there! I wasn't even thinking!!!! Well, I'm thrilled there's way more to go! =) So there's always hope. And it's funny, every time I drive down 684 I think of you. lol -

Hahah, I didn't even know you were on here! Your last chapter btw, had me in tears. I cried myself to sleep that night just thinking about Joe and Chris drifting apart. -
If your other reader from the previous chapter hadn't mentioned Jerry/The Scar being one and the same, I would have never believed it. Thank God Brandon didn't let on that he opened up the bottom of the scooter. On a happier note, I was cracking up at Eric's antics! He is a pisser when he's buzzed/wasted. lol And yes, a tequila sunrise certainly is great! Ok, on to chapter twenty-three.

Wow, am I off the mark!!! It never occurred to me that Jerry could be The Scar. I was thinking Jerry just had the bad misfortune to be hired by The Scar for shipping things they needed, such as those Kryton switches. I thought Jerry was going to screw up somehow and ship the boys' equipment to The Scar and the switches to Perth where the concert venue is. That would be bad. lol Of course when The Scar said he needed to take care of loose ends in the states and '"they were high profile" (I think that's what he said), and it needed to look like an accident, I thought he was talking about Jerry. So now of course I'm confused. lol Luckily I have more chapters waiting for me.

Ya had me goin' there, CJ! Luckily I didn't need my Kleenex! =) I can just picture Eric wheeling around in his chair. lol I don't know how he's gonna play if he's holding onto a crutch though. I guess he'll just have to sit on a chair or something. Anyway, thank you for not killing him off!
-
Oh shit, CJ, did you kill someone off??? First I thought it would be Chase b/c Steve didn't fasten his harness correctly, right? Then again, as your last reviewer says, Steve could have pushed Eric off b/c he figured out what was going on with Wilde. Damn it, I gotta find my tissue supply to get me through the next few chapters.

Good luck to everyone who was nominated! You all are winners in my book! -
At first I was angry with Andy for wanting to change Ollie and for telling him how to dress and how to act. But then, like Matt, Gina, Emily, et al, I realized he's right. When you start a new school you want to get off on the right foot. By dressing differently and acting weak and submissive is sending a signal out to the stupid bullies to harass you. And who knows, Ollie may actually like dressing like everyone else.

Lol, bright green eyes like a new John Deere with fresh paint. I love how you've incorporated the lyrics to both songs throughout the chapter. I saw another line from another song: where the man in the moon...anyway...I think if Jules scoots over to Marshal in the truck, Marshal will be all over the road! Woops, sorry, wrong story, lol. But seriously, Sasha, I absolutely LOVE this new story of yours! =) Can't wait to find out about their catfish dinner, then Marshal will feel like a winner when he lays Jules down and loves him right. Looking forward to chapter two! Oh, and what's going on with "Direct Confusion"? You didn't finish it when I wasn't looking, did you? lol

Welcome, Aaron! I would have to disagree with you about your creativeness; I think you're very creative. I just read the chapter of your new story and I think it's great and VERY creative! I can't wait to read more! Have you updated it yet???? Hint, hint, hurry up, I can't wait to see what happens next!

Ooooh, didn't know Frankie Ballard was so young and cute. lol But yeah, it's a great song!

I was hyperventilating when Eric dove into the water from the roof. What an idiot! He could have killed himself, or worse, paralyzed himself. Ok, so what's going on with Wilde? He won't take off his shirt. Neither did Steve, right? Wasn't Zeke the only one of The Shadows who took his shirt off? Is Wilde sick? Does he have that sickness where he can't be in the sun? I think Kim Basinger has that... I was also hyperventilating when Dimitri threw the block into the fire. lol Of course I know NOTHING about explosives. lol But it's actually too bad they didn't all blow up. haha

Lol, you too. I just put two and two together. Hope you enjoy your stay; there's lots to do here as you can see. If you click on "Forums" you will see tons of options, for other things besides reading. Of course I'm sure you're reading your wife's good stories... You should check out her gallery (I'm sure you already saw these pics); all those cute dogs and cats are adorable.

Oh man, Eric better not drink any more tequila, otherwise he'll be leading the pack over to the damn cliff himself!!! If anything happens to them, Helen's gonna kill 'em all! lol Steve seems to regret how he acted before, so we'll see. He seems to be the leader of their band. Still not sure if I trust him though. I was so happy for Jon pointing out to him that Steve's band needs Instinct, not the other way around. It was interesting how Vladimir is pissing off The Scar as well as Dimitri. He's lucky he's so smart and irreplacable, otherwise he'd be dead, just like the gunsmith dude.

Hey Jon! Welcome to GA! Are you Rachel's hubby?

I have a sickening feeling I know how the two different parts of the story are going to collide. Excellent chapter, CJ! The part about keeping the bomb hidden somewhere for ten years sort of confused me b/c I didn't know why they didn't want it to go off immediately. Ok, on to chapter seventeen.

What a fantastic concert! Although I have a feeling Helen is going to have Brandon's head! lol

I finally have some time to do a little catch-up with all these chapters. lol I can't believe something happened to those tracks. Was that something that Lump might have done to screw them over? And of course the last line of this chapter is so ominous...

Holy shit, Miracle really went off the deep end this time. I mean, it's great he won't have to worry about those two threatening him again, but holy shit, he just KILLED them! And they killed Robin's parents, even if they didn't mean to. Omg, what a mess. But why did Miracle just ruin Ryder's life?

"Kiss Of An Angel" Returns For #13!

Comsie - I see another story that's gonna rope me in, hook, line, and sinker. lol One of these days I'm gonna read your New Kid series. They are on my list of stories to read... -
It's so nice that Dr. Jack and Bernard are getting to know one another. They seemed to have forged a really nice friendship that looks like it will turn into something more. I'm also glad Bernard is losing weight. That's a wonderful depression lifter right there! =)

How sad that this had to happen. I don't understand why someone who had everything going for him: a wonderful career, a longterm girlfriend, kids, respect of all his colleagues, etc., would want to play Russian Roulette with his life. Thank God one of his kids didn't find him sitting on the toilet in his boxers w/a syringe sticking out of his arm. My heart goes out to his family and friends. RIP PSH, you will be missed.

Chapter 1 - A Prince is Born
Lisa commented on Andy78's story chapter in Chapter 1 - A Prince is Born
Andy, I'm not usually into the kings and queens and palace stories, but you had me at the first line. lol I'm intrigued. I found it fascinating what you wrote about the different classes and the fact that the princes and princesses can't live in the palace w/their parents until they are fourteen and thirteen, respectively, when they come of age. Sort of like in the Jewish religion when a girl or boy has a Bar/Bat Mitzvah when they turn thirteen. I feel badly for Joshua b/c he has to give up everything he knows and all his friends (especially Nate, of course), to live somewhere he's never been. And it will be odd seeing his parents basically for the first time. I'm looking forward to the next chapter. -
Wow, I just got chills. I heard the music to the "Twilight Zone" going through my head! lol That show was wayyyyy before your time, James, but that's what it felt like when I finished the chapter. Sid is a bit creepy. lol Sid's creepy and Hannah's a bitch. lol Glad they got all the stuff they need for Luce's party. I'm looking forward to reading about that. I hope she likes the books they found. That was actually pretty sweet, looking for LGBT books just for her. I know how Hannah felt though not finding an LGBT section in the bookstores they went to. We had a bookstore, Borders, which since went out of business (even though it was always crowded). They had an LGBT section and they sold magazines like "The Advocate" and "Out". The other bookstore in town which is now the only one, does not sell these magazines and I don't even know if there's an LGBT section. It's too bad and actually surprising, b/c my city is a small city, but it's way larger than a regular town and people come from all over the area to the bookstore, so it's odd that they don't carry these magazines. Anyway...good chapter, James! Looking forward to the next one!
