I loved this story! Despite Pete's lame-ass excuse hitting way too close to home, it was a terrific story. I'm so glad that Eric and Steve met again.

This was a terrific and entertaining story. I was laughing at many parts of the story. Absolutely love Eric and Jackson. And of course Addie. The only thing I want to bring to your attention is that there were a few misspellings, rose peddles for one. It should be rose petals. Also, Eric's ex-boyfriend was Robert and his named changed to Trevor at the end of the story. Other than those few things, it was terrific.

I read this two nights ago in my hotel room. Finally had free wi-fi. As JoAnn said: the last sentence also broke my heart. I really like Casey and I agree with Stephen when he said Casey's parents should be held accountable to what happens/happened to Casey. They should be brought up on charges for abandoning their son. I look forward to reading the next chapter later.

I loved your mention of Mohegan Sun; it's sort of in my neck of the woods. Although today I was in Vermont and New Hampshire (our drive was three hours, not quite next door, lol) I can see Cody as being the 'horse whisperer' and helping out with Jet. Of course when I was reading about Jet, all I kept thinking is call Zak! But then I realized it was the wrong story, lol. I didn't really think it was a good idea for Brice to ask Justin if they could take Cody to the game. Justin and Cody are going to realize that they BOTH like Brice and either they'll both be upset with Brice; they may think Brice was 'cheating' on them. Or, then it could go the way your reviewers are talking: with Cody and Justin falling for each other. lol Love the fact that Brice's dad is Dave Matthews; love the guy. lol I really love this story Andrew. I look forward to the next installment. =)

Ah, I missed this yesterday. I'm glad David found Micah again. I hope Micah lets David be a friend to him. He so desperately needs a friend.

Boy am I glad there will be a third book. At first all i saw was "The End" and I'm like, "Nooooooooooooooooo" So I'm thrilled there will be more of the gang. I think Devon will fit in perfectly with Dusty and Co. Loved the pink suitcases. lol And of course my favorite is Maxie. He is just too adorable. I love the way he speaks. And he's gonna be a big 'brudder' again. Omg, he makes me laugh so much. Looking foward to book three and now I still have chapter two of your new story to catch up with. =)

I agree w/Stephen; I think Micah should see how much he can make playing on the sidewalk. Maybe he'll be enlightened and find some direction in his life. I'm so glad he brought the violin to school and that he plays it at home when Betty's not around. At least he didn't totally abandon it.

I ditto everyone else's comments. I think Zach will be the ice-breaker during the weekend. After all, who can resist an adorable four-year old? lol The scene in the cemetery was really moving. I think it's great that Scott goes to Steve's grave to tell him everything that's going on in his life. I was also surprised that Sarah actually said anything to Zach. I really don't think that was her place at all; it should have come from his 'two dads'.

Sometimes I think Carson just wants to be the center of attention. Sometimes I think that she wants to be in the loop so bad that she wants to control everyone else's problem. But that doesn't mean she's a bad friend. I think she's a really good friend. I don't know. Maybe there's just too many people telling this person this and that person that, you know? I guess it's like Clark said: the gossip circle jerk. That was hysterical btw! Ethan has certainly turned into a creep. What a turncoat. But I would have loved to hear his side of it. He was trying to explain something to Caleb but Caleb wouldn't listen. Caleb thinks Jake hates him, but Jake has left tons of messages, texts, has called a hundred times, if someone hates you, isn't one phone call enough? lol I think Caleb needs to call Jake before school and figure out what they're going to say to people. They really need to talk this out. Great chapter furnished! As always, I'm anxiously awaiting the next one!

Ditto JoAnn. You definitely made me tear up. At the end, but especially when Casey admitted to Micah that his parents never came by. Why would he think they would? I'm not even sure they'll come get him now. That just broke my heart. How can you just abandon your child like that? I hope he calls Micah, maybe he can stay there. I didn't realize the camp was only for a year. How sad that they won't be back. I think Micah grew up and matured there. Is the baby Micah's? Or someone elses? What will he do? As usual, looking foward to more.

I love the fun that Zune and Ed have together. Each day they met up they seemed to bond even more. They get along so well. I loved the handprints on the white sheet. That was really cool. I'm amazed that Ed waited in the cafe all that time for Zune! And I can't believe Zune FORGOT ALL ABOUT ED!!!! lol I can feel Zune's guilt and anger at himself for just totally 'going with the flow' and not even thinking about the consequences of what he did with Ed. Kev who? haha I also feel Ed's pain and hurt b/c he's liked Zune for awhile now and he finally was able to show him how much he likes him and then Zune just freaks and runs away. It'll be interesting to see how Kev reacts to this bit of unsettling news. Awesome job sacred! And I ditto JoAnn; your writing has definitely improved since the first chapter I edited. Keep up the awesome work!

I'm glad Micah and Casey are forging a friendship. It seems with bullies like Snyder they have to stick together and back each other up. And speaking of Snyder, what are the other boys there for? Aren't they all "troubled"? Are Snyder and his few goons the only bullies? I would think with thirty "troubled" teenage boys, there would be fights and such. Anyway.....got my daily Micah fix. Today was a double-dose.

Ah, my daily Micah fix. lol I know Betty's worried about Micah and worried for him, but he just may need time to figure this all out on his own, like he told Greg. What Micah needs is someone to talk to . Too bad he can't go visit Jason and Robert. They're really level-headed. They could help him, even if they just listen to what's going on.

Alexi finally admitted his love for Joshua. The roller coaster ride was funny. I wonder if Joshua could take a sabbatical or something and go with Alexi on tour. I'll bet that Alexi's stage fright would be a lot better if Joshua was there with him. Although maybe his grandmother's foundation could help with that. Looking forward to more Sui!

Ah Finny, Finn, Finn, you are funny! lol I'm certainly looking forward to Luka and Noel finally meeting. But Noel and Lea are traveling halfway across the country just to find Luka and make sure he's ok. What a great guy Noel is. Also Soren...he's very caring and nurturing. I'm glad Cody let go of his jealousy and let Soren reach out to Luka. Luka's gonna be so devastated to learn that the only parent who really loved him and protected him, is dead. I bet his father's out there with that shotgun looking for him. Another exciting chapter Finn!

Megan is very smart to see that Micah is hiding his answers. I hope in time, Micah finally feels comfortable enough to confide in her. As she said: she can't help him if doesn't open up.

Oh man, how can you leave it like that? lol I'm on pins and needles wondering about this program. I know that Betty's domineering and controlling personality pushed Micah away from the violin. I'm wondering though, if Micah continued playing, would he still get mixed up with friends who were bad influences on him? After all, he said that there were always older people around who wanted his attention, booze and drugs...I just don't know if Micah would have fallen so far even if he did continue with the violin.

Of course we knew David and Jenna wouldn't have any problems with Dan's confession. I'm just surprised he told them, out in the open, for anyone to hear. I thought he'd want to tell him/hem privately. But he should feel good now that he told them. I wonder if Chris likes him? It was really sad reading about his unfortunate experience when he was younger. Kids can be so cruel and so bigoted. It comes from the home. Babies aren't born prejudiced; they learn it from their parents. Good chapter Circle!

This was a sweet chapter. Hugh is very good with his nephew and he's being very nurturing with Jonathon. I can't wait to find out more about him.

I'm sure returning the violin was the hardest thing Micah did. Betty too. And isn't it possible to take time off, even a year, and go back to it? Of course Micah would have to practice harder to get to the point where he left off, but that is possible, right? So why does Betty think that he'll never go back? Just b/c she didn't? I think if Betty just chills out and relaxs a bit, Micah will come to her eventually. I think the way she's handling it, even if Micah WANTS to go back to it and realizes this, he'd probably feel too embarrassed and ashamed to even talk to his mother about it. My middle son is captain of the wrestling team, JV and Varsity. This is his last year (as I write this, he's down in Virginia Beach at the Nationals), and for the past four years, he's been bitching and complaining about the rigors of practice, matches, etc. He spends nights crying b/c he's cutting weight and he has to make weight for the next tournament. I told him to quit then. (I know he LOVES, LOVES, LOVES wrestling and would NEVER quit in high school - surprisingly he doesn't want to wrestle in college), so I let him rant and rave and when I mention quitting, he's like no way, he loves it too much. lol I know that's different from Betty being so controlling, and she does want Micah to be a professional violinist, but I think if she chills a little, Micah will come back to her. It's not like she can physically force him in the car and drive to these concerts. He'd only wind up embarrassing her when he refuses to play. He may realize he misses it and wants to take it back up again, but HE has to come to that decision. Now I'm all caught up and I'm waiting for ch. 21. Damn, I'll have to wait until tomorrow, huh?

Betty's domineering nature is backfiring on her. She does need to cool it. The way she's demanding things of Micah is not the way to go about it. She's only driving him further away. She needs to sit down and talk about it with him. Calmly. It's funny; I was just thinking: why doesn't Micah's dad do anything or talk to him? It's nice to see him being a part of this, but I think he needs to be with Micah more. Micah has spent his whole "violin" life with Betty. He might need a father to talk to. Ok, on to ch. 20.

I read a story on Rumspringa (did I spell that right?). I found it so interesting that the Amish do this. I think it's great; it gives the kids a chance to see what the 'real' world is about. I know Betty is upset not only for Micah, but for herself too. If he gives up the violin, she has to return to her farm life. She also has to leave her little fantasy of what it could have been like if she never gave up her music. I think that's what's upsetting her more: the fact that SHE will have to stop living vicariously thru her son. Boy did I miss my Micah-David (can't wait to see him again. lol), fix! On to the next chapter I missed...

I agree w/Ian; Tony's attitude is already changing and I hope this is a permanent thing. I'm shocked that Mary and Mark do everything they do and spend all their money for nothing in return. I mean from the government; no money or anything. They are just great people who really care about these boys. They should be commended for all they do. =)

I don't know where I was that I missed this chapter. I think the whole choir/band thing is a great opportunity for the kids to feel important. I'm curious as to what happened to Tony. I would have thought that even if his cabin mates beat him up, he's still be angry and set on revenge. So now I want to know how his attitude changed so much. Ok, on to the next chapter. Oh, and btw: the letter was terrific! Yes, it was sappy, but so heartfelt. If I were Jeff, I would have been crying my eyes out. lol
