Hey, you're finally back! lol Wow, so much has happened in this chapter! Tara's a great sport; even after finding out her ex-fiance is seeing her brother. She's amazing. The whole thing with Will breaks my heart. And I'm a little confused; if Will is sort of like a vegetable now, why was he brought to a rehab center? I liked the photo assignment at the end. Just more proof of how much Will loved Darren and how oblivious Darren had been. Great job JMH. Hopefully the next chapter won't be as long of a wait...

Oh man, I have so much anxiety now about Terrence and Richie's relationship. What's going on with Richie? It's so hard for me to believe after being so in love with Terrence (is it ence, or ance?) for all these years, that he would suddenly find someone else, or be so unhappy with him. Shit, I need Prozac. lol Anxiously awaiting the next chapter. =)

Geez, where have I been the past six days? Your posting kinda snuck by me. lol I'm really glad Caleb told Cassie, and it seems that Carson is more observant than Caleb gave her credit for. I actually feel bad for Avery b/c she's the one who Caleb has really been faking with. Their whole relationship has been a lie and she's not even aware of it. And of course my heart does go out to Caleb; having to put on that fake smile and that fake face thal his g/f and all his friends know him for. And as he said: he's gotta be tired of faking so much. As always, I look forward to more!

Wow chapter ten really had me at the edge of my seat! Awesome job Yanks! I am totally confused now though. What did Jeremy tell Theo? I'm assuming he told him that he couldn't be with him as like a b/f. That's what I got out of epilogue. It was great that Chris got Shane and Ian there for Theo's b-day, but I agree with Laz; it could have been tied up better at the end. But it was a great story to read; very well-written with interesting characters. I look forward to reading more from you Yanks. =)

Tanner is the blonde who was at Amanda's table? From the way it was written, it seemed like he was a different person. Along with he was in four of my classes, wouldn't he have also said he was the blonde at the table? That's why I thought Tanner was a different guy. Anyway...Mike Butler doesn't seem too bad, but Mark sounds like an ass. I'm assuming it was him who made that nasty burnt meat comment. Shelby's great; I think she'll be a good friend to Gibby. And Amanda the Bitch; there's at least one in every school. Great chapter KC, the countdown till next Monday is on.

I actually liked Mrs. Harding in this chapter. I think she would have questioned Tom or Adam (I forgot, sorry; is Adam Tom's younger brother?) the same as she questioned Elijah. And Elijah totally re-directed the emphasis on her talk. Very clever. I do feel horrible that he didn't get into Oxford. I think he should find out why. I hope Oxford wasn't the only school he applied to? And don't they have the "guy code" in England? Tom and Sophie have been texting? What's up with that shit? Why didn't Tom ask Elijah if he minded if he communicates with Sophie? And if Tom and Sophie are so buddy buddy, whey didn't he know that Elijah and Sophie are talking? And I thought Tom liked Anna? lol Ok, looking forward to more. I really do like Mrs. H. though; she's only looking out for Elijah.

Well, I finally finished the chapter! I absolutely LOVE Kyle's mom! She's the coolest; the best mom! Altough she forgot one thing: LUBE!!!!! So obviously she doesn't know much about gay sex. lol I can understand how uncomfortable Jacob must have felt after than incident in the bathroom. Matthew is his brother after all and he shouldn't have been doing what he did with him. But at least he realizes this and hopefully it won't happen again. I can't believe what a prick Kyle's "father" is! And I use that term loosely. He walked out on them just b/c his TEN YEAR OLD SON MAY HAVE BEEN GAY???? As Kyle said: that's bullshit! He's a coward. So what, he didn't love his son enough to at least see him thru puberty? He didn't love his wife enough to stick around. Fucker. I'm a little nervous though about Jacob's mom. I think he's way too naive, thinking nothing can happen to him if he comes out to her. Well, he doesn't know the reality. Some "parents", again a loose term, throw their kids out just b/c they're gay. Ridiculous I know. Why have kids if you're not going to love them unconditionally and blame them for something that's not in their control? As Jacob told Matthew: you can't help who you love. (I think he said that, right? (My smiley face thingy doesn't work on here. =( ) I just hope Jacob's mom doesn't do or say anything that's going to upset Jacob. Is that what you were hinting in your note at the bottom? Some bad things that are in store for them? No, I want it all to be rainbows and little kittens! lol Isn't life like that? Anyway, as you can tell I'm really enjoying the story and I look forward to the next chapter. Oh, one question: well, actually two: why doesn't Kyle have a cell phone and two: DO THEY REALLY STILL HAVE PAY PHONES??? lol

He was so wasted he didn't realize there was no spider! lol So, Mark doesn't seem that enthusiastic about seeing Vickie. Why did he agree to get together with her? Anxiously awaiting more.....

I'm so happy you updated so quickly! Jordan seems pretty mature for his age. Of course I don't remember how old he is; fourteen, fifteen? Anyway, his father messed his head up pretty good and I'm sure he's learned a thing or two about violence and control, so Luke should be warned. lol Jordan is as protective of Drew as Drew is of Luke and Jordan. Terrific chapter HJ! Looking forward to more. =)

Well Damond, I was all set to tell you about the dioxins and carcinogens (did I spell that right? I'm too lazy to look it up) that can be leached from the freezer into plastic water bottles, when I thought to google it. There were all these internet emails a few years back from John Hopkins stating all the reasons why you never freeze water bottles and microwave plastic containers (unless they are the microwave safe kind). So I just googled it and even John Hopkins said that these are false statments and they don't know who started it and why they put John Hopkins name on it. So apparently I didn't get the latest memo that it is safe to freeze water bottles. So forget everything I said about it in my review! Sorry! =)

Holy shit, nothing happened to Jeremy, did it? I mean he just skipped out on study hall, right? Jeremy's revelations to Theo were so sad, so tragic. I can totally see why he wouldn't want to get close to Theo for fear something horrible would happen to him. And Theo would also be taking that same risk if he was following in his ancestor's footsteps. Wonderful writing Yanks; so well-written. Had me at the edge of my seat. Oh, one question: Since no one "remembers" the kid's mom, don't they question why they are living in that house w/o any parents? I was just curious.

Wow, I'm surprised Joey forgave JT so easily. So does this mean JT will stop harrassing them? How can he if his father is forcing him to do it? Loved Roger's speech to the EMT. That whole scene with Andy and that "spirit" and the scene with Andy and his mom kind of confused me. With all the talk of God and how Andy will be challenged soon and to listen to his father and to Joey; it all confused me. What's going to happen with Andy? I hope JT's father won't come after Andy himself.....

Don't know where I've been, but I missed chapter two! lol I just wanted to comment on that. When Dillon went to that first practice, he brought a water bottle that he obviously put in the freezer to make a solid chunk of ice. Isn't that dangerous? A few years ago there was something that came out that you shouldn't freeze water bottles or anything in plastic. Something about the elements in the freezer seeping into the plastic of the water bottle. Sort of the same idea that you don't microwave anything in plastic containers that aren't specifically for microwaves. Anyway, I guess Dillon didn't hear about that....lol On to the review: great chapter Damond! It's good to see Dillon making friends with his fellow teammates. I especially liked Aaron and his ability to eat so much! lol And I agree with Joann; hands off my pizza! lol No one comes between me and my pizza! Looking forward to the next chapter. =)

Amanda's a bitch. I have a feeling that Bethany would have given Gibby the right directions. I also don't think Ms. Stein will be too upset. Gibby is a new student after all and isn't it to be expected he'd be late? He should have stayed and waited for Mrs. B. to get the map. And I'm surprised with a school so large, they didn't have anyone showing Gibby around. I was cracking up at the officer's "goodbye" for his daughter! That was funny! I'm surprised Gibby's dad never talks about his wife. I can't imagine what they have gone through, losing her in the fire, losing the house, their burns, etc., but to never talk about her isn't healthy. And he's setting a poor example for his son. How can Gibby never mention his mom? Never talk about her with his dad? The only two people who loved her so much; that's sad. His father really needs to speak with someone; he needs to deal with this. It's been what, over ten, eleven months? He needs to be able to face this and talk about his wife. How is Gibby going to move on if he can never mention his mom? And his dad being a doctor! I'm suprised! I know he's not a shrink, but still; he's a doctor; he should know it's not healthy acting like his wife and the mother of their son never existed. Anyway....great chapter KC, can't wait for the next one!

Hey, I agree with Andy! It's been FOUR MONTHS!!!!! But....I'm thrilled you updated intune! One line didn't make sense to me: when Lucca mentioned Sam had so many books and he was surprised b/c he hadn't lived there long, Sam could have taken them from his house in Florida! Right? I was actually hoping you were going to continue the chapter where you left off with the last one: when Matt came over. What happened with that? Did he wind up going home? Did Lucca question Jeremy as to why he looked so upset at seeing Matt? There were so many unanswered questions. I did enjoy this chapter though; I could feel Sam's anxiety over the fact that Lucca hadn't called him all week. I'd probably be a basket case, lol. Of course Addie calmed his mind with all the talk about being so busy in school, and Lucca didn't think twice about not calling Sam. At least it wasn't anything personal. hahha Ok, looking forward to the next chapter intune! Even if it's not for another four months; I'll wait patiently, well, not so patiently, but I'll wait.

I'm glad Caleb told Cassie. He definitely had to tell someone. And how old is Cassie again? Fourteen? She's way more mature than a fourteen year old. My son just turned fourteen and I don't think he would have understand half of what she said. lol She's just very deep. I agree with her that Caleb should break up with Avery, b/c he is leading her on and it is a fake relationship and it's not fair to her. As far as telling everyone else, I don't know. He should tell Avery the truth, but maybe I'd gauge her reaction before I'd put myself out there for the other kids. I do believe in being honest with your friends, but I also see the down side to that. What if they're not the friends Caleb thought they were? Hopefully I'm wrong, but maybe he should just take baby steps. And maybe Caleb can text Knox back and sort of apologize for his past behavior. I don't know. Knox is kind of opening up a conversation since he did ask Caleb if he was ok. Awesome chapter, as always Furnished. Looking forward to the next one.

Whoa dude - what the fuck just happened? I feel like I'm reading a "Twilight Zone" story or something. Holy shit. Is that what happens when they disappear? They just get swallowed up? And wow, I thought it was THEO who his mom didn't see anymore. No, she was ignoring him b/c she knew he was gay. Holy crap. And that whole thing with Chris and the FIRST Theo, omg what happened? The baby died? The mom went bonkers and then what? Jesus, what an awesome two chapters! Omg, I almost forgot about Jeremy, lol! Well, maybe he can explain everything to Theo in the hospital....

So excited; two chapters in one night! Why doesn't Theo, Aaron and Jeremy put two and two together? It seems like Theo and Aaron's mom wiped out Theo's existence; just like Jeremy's cousin. What other explanation could there be? It just gives me chills. And as far as Jeremy and Theo's kiss; I think Jeremy feels that Theo is going to hate HIM, not the other way around. He did apologize, so he's not upset with Theo; he's upset with himself. Hopefully Jeremy won't ignore Theo in school. Ok, on to the next chapter....

Gibby is so funny! I re-read the first chapter and his humor and good personality shine through in both chapters. It's amazing he didn't lose his sense of humor after being through what he's been through. I think most other teens (probably adults too) who have lived thru losing his mother, his home and almost his life, would still be in a deep depression. I'm assuming that's what the meds are supposed to help with? I think Gibby's very brave. I especially loved him teasing Scott, lol, that was fun to read. But his outburst and the old lady's outburst was really uncalled for. Even though they were shocked to see his scars, just don't say anything. Awesome chapter KC! And everytime I read Gibby's name I think of Gibby from "ICarly". Go figure! lol

Hey HJ, thanks for responding to my comments! lol I forgot to ask: if David didn't shoot Rose, then who did? They didn't figure that out, did they? Are the police looking into it? It wasn't James, was it, aiming for Luke or Drew? From the way James was talking to Jordan about doing something to Drew's car in the morning, I got the impression they lived close by. But I thought they were out of state; Jared said he went to visit his aunt down in Texas, so now I'm confused. Who shot Rose?

HJ - I've been reading this on and off whenever I have time, since March. I finally got to the last chapter only to realize it is the last chapter! I absolutely LOVE this story! Your characters are so vivid and even David, who I of course HATED, am now sympathetic towards. And of course Rose and Jane are the best! I'm so glad they found Jordan. They should all thank Jared profusely for even noticing him down in Texas. Jordan's gonna need a lot of therapy; his "father" (and I use that term very loosely) really screwed him up. What a great author you are HJ! I can't wait to read more! Hopefully you'll update within the year? lol

Ok, so I'm assuming that the older brother is the one who followed Jon in the woods? Poor Jon; he should really try to make friends with this boy (sorry, I forgot his name already! lol). At least he'll know someone on the first day. Very well written chapter Caffled! Can't wait for more!

I loved Elijah's inner thoughts: if she walks by the store he'll give her his all, if she walks into it, that's the end of them. Of course he was just looking for an 'excuse' to break-up with her. And I must admit, he was an ass about it. "I'll text you sometime." You'll text me SOMETIME????? What kind of horsehit is that? lol I'd be so hurt if I were Sophie. He should have sat down with her somewhere, explain more how he felt. She was totally blindsided and didn't expect any of that. He was an ass. Other than that, great chapter Jasper! Oh hey, at least Eli knows where his 'craziness' comes from! hahah

I forgot to ask: if Jenny and Corey were going out most of junior year, why hasn't Corey ever been to Jenny's house? And the same question applies to why Jenny has never been in Corey's bedroom before? I also noticed in chapter thirteen, Jenny brought Corey breakfast up to his room and his dad shut the door, leaving them alone in his room. But then in chapter fourteen Jenny was up in Corey's room again and it was mentioned that it was her first time in there. Ok, anyway, forgot to mention those things in my review!
