Whoa Jacob! Good for you for standing up for Kyle, your brother and Nicolas! Maybe he came on a bit strong, but he certainly made his point. I think though, now that the others know for certain that Jacob and his group only want to be friends, things will be different. I'm sure that the other boys won't bring the sex stuff up again. And I think Matthew and Nicolas are way too young to be involved in that group stuff anyway. Another excellent chapter podium!

Damn, you made me cry. I can certainly understand why Kyo needed that time away from everyone so he could concentrate on his thesis and his drawings. I've read how artists just live for their paintings when they're under a deadline and they don't want to be bothered by anyone. Although letting Ryuu know that ahead of time would have been helpful. lol I also liked reading about how Kyo changed from the angry, stubborn kid into a more mature young man under Ryuu's care. Awesome story lilansui!

Owl, you're back!!!! I was so excited to see this story updated! Mark's a funny kid, isn't he? At the beginning of the chapter where he bumps into Robinson the bully and Robinson asks him if he knows who he is and Mark replies, "Robinson Bennett. The names jackass, bigot, and idiot also apply...." Hysterical! Mark is definitely a spitfire! =) He is brave and ballsy; even going up to Tom who Max specifically told him to stay away from. He's got guts. Now Tom; I do actually feel bad for him. All these years of bullying and beating up on kids and just being an asshole are hard for people to forget. It's going to take probably the rest of the year for him to prove that he's changed. True, he's changing a bit little by little, but kids can be cruel; as is shown in this chapter. They aren't even giving him a chance to explain when he does something accidentally. They automatically assume he did it on purpose. As far as 'targeting Mark', it's good that Tom's getting the rest of the bullies such as Robinson to back off, but now Max thinks he's gunning for his cousin, when that couldn't be further from the truth. But why was Tom such an asshole to Mark? The way he acted towards him was certainly no way to endear yourself to someone you like! lol Terrific chapter Owl, as always! Oh man, things are bad. It's only 1:45 a.m. and I used up all my likes already! How does that work? lol Anyway, I enjoyed the second chapter. Now it's more obvious that Mark is really into Tyler. It wasn't so obvious to me in the first chapter. And don't you have to go to college to become an accountant? Looking forward to the next chapter. Oh Stuey, what an awesome story you wrote! =) I've been reading it on and off for a few days. Gotta make sure with your story that no one is hovering over me. lol Not quite a story for the under-18 crowd. haha This last chapter was pretty comical w/Stephen's folks swapping partners. I loved the line, "Your very married mother walked in with her very not your father lover...." That was hysterical! I do feel bad for David b/c he's hiding who he really is and he can date girls all he wants, but that won't make him happy. Although Stephen's parents are so open when it comes to sex and sexuality (they originally thought Stephen was gay), I'm not sure that teenagers (or any age really) should be walking around naked in front of their parents. Truthfully, I would feel extremely uncomfortable if my teenage boys walked around naked. And Peggy; yes, she did seem like a wonderful girl and I really felt sorry for her b/c of her drunk of a father, but she was too bold and inappropriate when it came to keeping her hands to herself when she was over Stephen's house. Which of course she NEVER kept her hands to herself. To me, she just came across like a whore when she was feeling Stephen up knowing full well his parents were watching from the kitchen. And Stephen's father listening to his son and Peggy going at it; that's just disgusting. It's not right. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I'd be totally embarrassed if I heard anything like that from one of my kid's rooms. Anyway....what year is this story supposed to take place? I was just curious b/c of that reform act that was mentioned, making homosexuality legal. I didn't understand that at all. I thought maybe this was supposed to be a long time ago, but then that can't be b/c they didn't have GLBT clubs a long time ago. I was under the impression that being gay was not illegal. I mean, I know it was decades ago, but not now. I'm really enjoying this story Stuey and I look forward to chapter five.

I liked this chapter. It shows Tyler's vulnerability when it comes to Mark. I'd like to know more about their background. Are they just platonic roommates, maybe Tyler wants to be a little more than that? I look forward to the next update!

Aahhhhh, damn, I used up all my 'likes'. Sorry Kim. Great story; too bad it's only one chapter. I love the way you get in the kid's mind; it's so realistic. I felt his pain. I would love to read another chapter, or two, or three. You did a great job with the first person pov. =)

Oh shit, trouble in paradise. I knew Mattie would get even more jealous of Brooke than he was before. Now especially since he's emotionally and physically involved with Lem. Once there's that element of intimacy in a friendship, the friendship definitely changes. And all Mattie wants to be is Lem's everything, but Lem has to divide his feelings between him and Brooke. Poor Mattie. He's been waiting so long for this. I just hope this doesn't ruin their friendship. Excellent chapter Dave! I've been checking every morning about 12:30 to see if you've updated, so I was thrilled to see it early this morning, err, yesterday morning! (It's after two here) Ten more hours and I'll be looking for another one! lol

I'm thinking the girl Chris is always with is his sister. I mean, he had this big smile on his face when Trace brought her up and he knew Trace was jealous. I bet when Trace gets there in the a.m. and sees her, he'll flip out, but then Chris will have to explain. Can't wait to find out!

This was fascinating and my mouth dropped open when I read about James Dean and Marlon Brando. I was clueless. Thank you for including my favorite singer, Melissa Etheridge. But you didn't mention other entertainment personalities such as my all time favorite, Ellen and then there's Rosie.....oh, and how about Minnie Ripperton from the 70's and that singer who sang, "Ring my Bell", Alicia Bridges I think her name was. Oh, and you didn't mention current celebrities who have recently come out. Back in the 80's, my mom took me to a play on Broadway called, "Bent", with Richard Gere. It was about the gays in concentration camps. I think they had to wear pink bands or something to distinguish themselves from the Jews. They were actually one step below the Jews. Little did my mom know that Richard Gere and his friend did they play completely naked and we were lucky enough to be like five rows from the stage! lol Anyway, I applaud you on your extensive knowledge on your subject. There were so many people you mentioned that I was clueless about. And funny enough, I already knew about some that were already mentioned in carringtonj's, "Paradise".

Damn, I had this longish review and it didn't go thru. Ok, Reader's Digest version: Kim, you gotta clone David. Make the clone straight and send him directly to me. Do not pass GO, do not collect 200 bucks, just send him right to my door. I accept UPS and FedEx packages. Make sure I'm home though to sign b/c I don't want my nosey neighbors to take off with him! But seriously, I was dabbing at my eyes at the end of the chapter. David and Chris are just so good together. It was great that Chris wanted to come clean with David, but luckily he didn't have to b/c David already knew. I absolutely LOVE Liam and Ethan! They are so cute! I would love to see them in their 'monkey suits'. Little kids who wear tuxes and dresses are so adorable. I know the wedding will be such a special day for David, but especially for Chris b/c he'll be able to make brand new memories with his family and friends. And I can't wait for that day, so consider this my RSVP.

Wow this was such an exciting chapter! I was at the edge of my seat while Derek and Krissy were being chased. Holy crap, how did Gordon find Derek? Mitch is gonna be so pissed about that bike. Although he only said no bugs on the windshield. He said nothing about blowing it up. lol Looking forward to more!

What is it with people thinking if you're gay you can't have kids? When Trace was thinking how great his mom was accepting him, etc., etc., he even said she was good with the fact she wouldn't have grandchildren. Why? Why can't he eventually have kids? So, intriguing chapter. I think Christian was just about to confess something to Trace. Too bad his mom had to call and ruin the moment. lol Oh, question: Trace took a shower after Chris left b/c the soda made him all sticky. Then why did he take another one after watching tv with Cam? Stupid question, but I thought I'd ask it, lol. I'm really enjoying the story Harmonic! Looking forward to the next chapter! Oh, and Richard Geere is Richard Gere. =)

Well, I my refresh button almost broke, but it was finally worth it b/c you updated! Poor Lem. I had a feeling this would happen. Jeff is certainly NOT a nice guy. I hope Lem never is with him again. Why does Lem think so little of himself? Why does he think he deserves Jeff's cruelty? And why has Jeff been different since the first time they were together? Did Lem get to him? Is he scared of his feelings for Lem and that's why he's being such a douchebag? Because he's fighting his attraction to him? And then on the other hand is Mattie, who confessed his love to Lem, although I think Lem doesn't fully understand the kind of love Mattie has for him. This was an excellent chapter Dave! Oh, just as a reminder: isles is aisle. Ok, back to my refresh button. lol

What? No chapter nine yet? You're slipping Dave. J/K I think what Lem and Jeff did is going to have consequences for Lem. He's so innocent and loving and I think Jeff was just using him. It was so sad when Lem was thinking if this means Jeff loved him. He's so naive. Excellent writing Dave. Looking forward to the aftermath.

Keep going Dave; just a few more tonight, hm?" lol So, after Ronnie warned Lem to be careful around Jeff, he goes off with him. Luckily he didn't get stoned this time. lol I wonder if Jeff will talk to him again after what happened, or he'll avoid him. I think Lem would be really hurt if he did that. They really need to talk. Ok, onto chapter eight!

At the end of the chapter Lem hears Mattie crying and he's thinking that he only heard him cry once, when they were nine. But Mattie cried when he was eleven and Lem was going into Junior High and leaving Mattie behind in elementary school. Anyway, that's just me being picky. This chapter was so good. I'm surprised that Lem even asked Mattie if he was gay. And Mattie got so upset and angry. And Lem thought he insulted him. Why would he think that thinking he's gay would be insulting? And what they do together behind closed bathroom doors or down in basements or out in farmer's fields isn't considered gay? And how Lem feels about Jeff; that's perfectly 'straight'? Just sayin' Ok, onto chapter six.

Kum 'N Go, seriously? hahha There's really a place called that? So, Lem got stoned (maybe) and kissed Jeff. AND JEFF KISSED HIM BACK; EVEN HAD SOME TONGUE GOING ON....hmmmm, wonder why? Wasn't it him who said he's not into that gay shit? Poor Mattie, being used by Lem just b/c he's there and Lem knew he'd do it. But the funniest thing was the cop! That was really priceless! Next time you might wanna leave your pipe at home, hahah!! I wonder if you're gonna write about the Flatts concert. Oh, actually there's till TWO more chapters for me to catch up on! Two of my kids saw them a few weeks ago here in CT. It was their second time seeing them. Tomorrow they see Luke Bryan (yum) and Jason Aldean. Lucky bastards. Ok, on to the next chapter! =)

I think it's sweet that Shawn's dad is looking out for him. He just wants to make sure Jordan isn't out to hurt him. Actually, I think the whole family drama w/the mother-in-law in the hospital is important. Shawn's dad can see firsthand how Jordan feels about his family. He just dropped everything to drive out to Denver (if it's halfway between his house and Brian's it's gotta be at least three hours away), pick up his niece and drive back the next day. He's willing to drop everything to help his brother out. Shawn's dad should be impressed. Shawn was being a little paranoid there. Jordan was in the middle of a sort of family crisis. If it were me, the thought would't even cross my mind to ask Shawn to come. I'd be too focused on getting out of there on time and setting my niece up and worrying about what to do about work, etc. Well, at least Shawn knows it was nothing personal. Looking forward to the trip!

Oh Dylan, Dylan, the possibilities continue....lol So Eden's off the "note list",but Cooper's added to it! Coop sounds like a really nice kid. Cute too. lol But, Oh Em Gee; Tanis agreed to hang out with Dylan after the game! How cool is that?! I'm so excited for Dylan! And now he thinks Tanis is the one who wrote the note....I wonder if he's right.

Shit, now you made me cry! This was a great chapter. i'm glad to see Will doing a bit better. Hopefully he'll get his memory back and put on some weight. He was so sweet with Jacob. Even if he didn't fully understand what exactly Jacob was talking about as it relates to him. Looking forward to more! Glad you updated!

I'm glad Trace isn't totally not talking to Chris. He's gotta give the kid more slack; he has no clue who that girl was. And especially now since Chris reiterated what he said yesterday about the total package. lol There were a couple of discrepancies I found: when the kids went to theater class, it was mentioned that the only kids that weren't there were Harrison, Nick and Hunter. Then all of a sudden when the teacher told them it was a free period, Harrison and Hunter are there. Where'd they come from? lol And when H&H decided to tell their friends about their relationship, first they said they were going to go to Ralph's Pizza, but then two sentences later it was Zano's Pizza. Other than that; great chapter! I'm looking foward to Trace and Chris working on their project.

That was absolutely horrible. I had a feeling Andrew's dad would be a prick about things after he kept talking about girls and girlfriends. I was actually hoping Andrew would have talked to Elizabeth (ha, I knew her and Brian were related, lol) and maybe she could have hinted at his dad or something. I'm very disappointed in his father. His ignorance shines thru with his violence. I know this happens to kids all the time; I just don't understand. I can't comprehend why a parent, who has raised a child and given him/her love and acceptance their whole lives, why would they resort to violence when hearing about something their child can't even help? (sorry for the run-on sentence; I'm getting all worked up..) The ignorant 'parents' who use physical abuse on their children over something no one has control over is appalling. They should never have children if one day along the way they're going to decide to abuse them or kick them out for something like their sexuality. These 'parents' should be shot. So.....awesome chapter advocatus (is your penname Latin? What does it mean?). Hopefully Brian, his mom and Elizabeth will take Andrew in (and Rain of course). Poor Andrew; he has been thru so much and now he has to worry about his asshole 'father'.
