I was just reading your response to Puppi's review, and I remember mentioning about the "Bathroom Bill" in my previous chapter review. I have to say, I'm so proud of Springsteen, Bryan Adams, Ringo Starr, PayPal, and that football (?) team that refused to play/do business in North Carolina due to that ridiculous, discriminatory "Bathroom Bill". The sad and scary thing though, is wackos pretending to be trans just so they can perv on the opposite sex, just like Darryl suggested he would do. I don't understand why we can't all have three bathrooms: ladies room, mens room, and a unisex bathroom. What's so difficult about that? Anyway, back to the story. Ah ha! Colton made his move! Good for him! And he defended Tiffany, who, despite ALWAYS saying she can take care of herself, I'm sure deep down she was pleased Colton stood up for her. I think Bobby is really maturing by being away from his idiotic sperm donor. He's getting rid of the toxic hate his sperm donor was always spewing at home. He's thriving being with Mrs. Oliver. He got rid of his white button-down shirts and is now wearing teenage clothing. Everyone in school is noticing Bobby emerging from Jacob's shadow. I'm glad he'll have a few people at least who will call him Bobby. Great chapter, Ron!

Week Thirteen Tuesday, November 25, 2014: Alex Moves In
Lisa commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week Thirteen Tuesday, November 25, 2014: Alex Moves In
I don't like Erik just showing up out of the blue and telling Twoey he's going to take him to school every morning. Twoey liked his morning walk to school with his friends. Is Erik trying to slowly alienate Twoey from his friends? I don't like that. I know you readers don't like Erik. I do like Erik, but I don't want him being possessive of Twoey, or God forbid, 'tell' Twoey who he can be friends with, as Carl pointed out. Love Sam and Deena. Sam was too smart NOT to pass Deena's test! Alex is too much right now. She's coming on way too strong, and how come David isn't turned off by that? Like everyone else, I loved David's description of the wallpaper peeling. Why can't he remember? Because I'm betting he was sexually abused when he was young. My bet it was that s.o.b. Burke and/or PPF while TWWWFRN was probably watching the whole thing. I wouldn't put it past the VB (vicious bitch). And where the f was Daddy Dearest while his oldest son was being abused? Hanging with Gary's dad no doubt. I can't wait until PPF and TWWWFRN are caught. That can't happen soon enough. Excellent chapter, Skinny! On to the next one! -
Thomas is definitely going to complicate things for Jason. Especially now that he knows how Jason feels about Shane. Thomas seems like the type of boy who always gets what he wants. Great chapter, Mitchelll! I really love the flashback scenes!

That's awesome news! I love that story! Good for Sean! Definitely well deserved!

I LOVE it, Lit!!! Jason is a shit for cheating on Perri, but I think he's even more of a shit for not letting Perri know he wasn't looking for anything serious. Two years might not seem like a lot, but there is quite a bit of maturity between the ages of eighteen and twenty. Jason's living the party boy life up at school, where there's no one to report to, while his boyfriend is still at home without the freedom Jason has. It's obvious Perri thought their relationship was going to be a long-term thing. They've only been together for a few months, so everything is still new to them, even if they've known each other for a while. I agree with Tim (Timothy Tim, not Tim Tim, lol), when he said Jason would have probably dumped Perri soon after they all were settled in school. Unless he was just going to keep Perri for someone he can screw at home. That's really shitty. Anyway...AWESOME start to your story, Lit! I can't wait for more!

Anything would be great from you, KC; it's been way too long since I've read anything from you. I love the way you write and how you combine your own humor in your stories.- 7 comments

Well, I probably won't read the new sci-fi/fantasy story (not my cup of tea), but I definitely look forward to more of Field of Love and T&T.

I'm with Silentdreamer; I really hope that Ed remembers everything he confessed to Zune. If he doesn't, Zune will be really angry. And disappointed. Now that Zune finally acknowledges his feelings for Ed, I want him to be able to act on them! Great chapter, Sacred!

Week Thirteen Monday, November 24, 2014: Boyfriendtastrophe
Lisa commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week Thirteen Monday, November 24, 2014: Boyfriendtastrophe
Chapter seventeen? Shit, I gotta go back and reread it! Was that when Erik sort of had David pushed against a wall, or am I totally not remembering anything? lol Wouldn't surprise me. If that happened, yes, Erik was at fault, although jealousy has pushed people to do much worse. Not that I'm condoning what he did. Personally, I find Erik to be sweet and romantic whenever he's with Twoey. I will admit I shed a few tears when he was confessing his love to Twoey. I thought he was being such a gentleman by refusing to have Twoey's first time be in the backseat of a car. Not romantic at all. He was sweet to David in the hospital. I don't see the conniving boy everyone else does. I guess I'm just not a good judge of character. I really hope they're wrong though because I couldn't stand for Twoey to be hurt again. Yes, and why did David ask Tommy to take out the pins in the voodoo dolls? Is he going to use them on someone else? Also, I noticed that David got his own POV, instead of starting the chapter with him, like in the past. I wonder if that has any significance to the rest of the story. Another awesome chapter, Skinny! -

Congrats, KC, on being featured! I agree with everyone--Pour Me Another was a terrific story that I highly recommend reading. As with most of KC's stories, it has his wonderful humor but along with that, there is suspense, angst, and of course love. A definite must-read. -
Week Twelve Sunday, November 23, 2014: Cat Fight
Lisa commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week Twelve Sunday, November 23, 2014: Cat Fight
David's memory loss is worrisome, but it may be just temporary, hopefully. I'm glad Gary mentioned it to Twoey and Ginny on the car ride home. The doctors should definitely check it out. So...Gary didn't like David when they first met because David was even a bit OCD even back then! lol Always having to arrange and compartmentalize how he plays. Randy's name game was funny at first. I really loved David's answer to his matching up Larry Lewis with Cal because of Cal's ability to avoid all the girls he cheats on. lol I could feel the tension in the air though between Alex and Twoey. I could sense each of them fuming. Personally, I think Alex is being a bit pushy with all her kisses. I can maybe see a kiss on the cheek, but she and David aren't even going out! She shouldn't be kissing him as intensely as she is. I mean, how come Megan didn't question her as to why she's kissing David so much? Didn't she find it odd? So now I'm curious to see what's going on tomorrow (David time). You mentioned it in your response to Def's review. I'm gonna check out the gallery now, then read the next chapter. -
Yeah, J, you can't disappear for another four years! lol What an action-packed, nail-biting chapter! Wow! I'm amazed Jason isn't still in the hospital. How can he be moving around like that after a bullet pierced his stomach? Ah, to be young again and so resilient. I'm wondering what Mr. Lang Sr. does that he has all this artillery in his house and all his top-notch security (I guess both the 'cabin' and his regular house). And Jason is so young; he's only nineteen/twenty (he's a sophomore in college, right?), and he knows how to do all this spy/surveillance stuff. Like Derek/Daniel, the non-spy. lol Mr. Lang Sr. must have taught his son a lot about what he does. So, J, I creeper/stalked your profile yesterday curious of your age. Boy was I shocked that you're so young! How in the world do you know all this stuff about rifles, shotguns, handguns, ammo, blowing up gas tanks, Ducati bikes and how to crush them and blow them up, etc., etc. And not only are you smart, you are very good-looking too! So, when can we expect the next chapter of this hella awesome story? Would later today be too soon? lol
-
Like JoAnn, I'm wondering what Derek/Daniel is if NOT a spy. This was most definitely an action-packed chapter! I actually thought it comical when Ian was duct-taped to the chair and just watching the exchange between D&J. I'll be interesting to find out exactly what kind of not-spy Derek really is.
-
Shit, I do remember reading this chapter. Was that Derek's old boss? Now I can't remember. On to chapter three.
-
I went to check this story out and read some reviews. Surprisingly, one of the reviews was mine! Obviously not from this chapter. I didn't realize you started this story back in 2012. Ok, so now I'll review the first chapter: Awesome suspense, J! I'm pretty much dumbfounded thinking of how on earth they got all those appliances and furniture down there under the ground. lol I'd be so nervous being so far underground and not knowing how to get back up. Plus, the truck seems like it's millions of miles away. Ok, on to chapter two.
-
Jacob/Bobby is asserting a bit of independence now by throwing out the white shirts he was made to wear every day. Just one more thing that severs the ties of his intimidating sperm donor. After I read this chapter on your site, Ron, I read online about the same problems some trans teens encountered in their respective schools regarding the bathrooms. I think from what I remember the schools were talking about making another bathroom, like a unisex one. I think all schools and public places where there are bathrooms should have a unisex one also. I think it's safer for the trans people because so many people don't understand that it's harmless for a trans girl to use the girls' room, and vice-versa for a trans boy. What do they think is going to happen? Having a unisex bathroom solves this problem. I do think there will be lots of fallout from Tiffany going into the girls' bathroom. Unfortunately. Think how dangerous it could be for her to use the boys' room, especially when asshats like Darryl are walking around. Another excellent chapter, Ron.

HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY DREW!!!!! I hope you're having a terrific day! So, I had two awesome PI cakes, one with a calculator on it, and the other just a PI symbol with the calculations all over it, but...I couldn't upload them. Some pop-up came up that said I wasn't allowed to upload the extensions, or something like that. But I was thinking about PI cakes for you, Drew!

I need to read them all again, but numbers 3,5, and 7 made me tear up. They were absolutely beautiful. Of course I loved the one about being tired, as I can relate so well! You have such a knack for poetry, Addy! I'm looking forward to more!
-
Well, hopefully when they get back to school, they'll be able to address the elephant in the room, although I suspect they will try to ignore it for as long as they can. I feel so badly for Shane; he's stuck with an unloving stepmother, and it seems his father is more concerned with keeping his new wife happy than his son. And...NO INTERNET ALL SUMMER???????? GAH!!!!!! What on EARTH does he do all night?????? lol
-
Jeez, I can't believe I missed this chapter, Mitchelll! Where have I been? It seems like Shane was the one who got 'cold feet' and took off before Jason woke up. He obviously didn't want any rejections about the night before, so he left before he could even talk to Jason. I hope that wasn't what put Jason over the edge enough to out Shane. On to chapter nine.
-
Jeez, Dark, I'm sorry you went through all of that. I hope your brother got counseling also. It certainly makes sense the way your brother treated you, that you would 'find' a man who was as volatile as he was. I'm glad things are better for you now. I've read Q's Second Shot. It was one of the first stories I've read when I came to GA. I always loved the way Q wrote, and I definitely loved seeing Lil 'Q in all Q's gallery pics! I don't think I've read anything by Sammy yet, so I can't comment on him. Congrats to Val for being in this blog for the first time! I love the way Val writes, and I find all her stories so interesting. Alex's Legacy was a tearjerker, for sure, which makes it an excellent story (IMO). For anyone who hasn't read that yet, it should definitely be on your must-read list.

Awww, Benji's scared. Now he thinks Connor won't ever be his friend again. Doesn't he realize Connor kissed him back? lol Looking forward to more, Ham!
-
Good story you have here, Ham! I'm also looking forward to see where the story goes--especially the bit about Conner's accident. A few things you should look out for though (if you don't mind): Conner's name was spelled with an er and with an or a few times, so I'm not sure which is the correct spelling. Also, be careful of tense changes; there were quite a number of times you switched to present tense from past tense. Other than that, it's a good story!

Weird, I received a notification that you replied to my status, Reader, but when I clicked on it a message appeared that said there are no new status updates. Could that be because what I wrote had to be approved first? I never understood that. Why do some people have things that have to be approved before they're posted and others don't? Anyway...didn't mean to take off with your b-day thread, Reader! Sorry! I'm glad you had a good day! Oh yeah, and soooo cool that your b-day is on 4-4-16! lol
