Well, we know for certain that Val and Marina are two-faced hypocrites of the highest sorts, that and they are deeply along the path to losing Noah, if their behaviors persist. With an injury sustained, such as this one, Reggie's father put up a valiant struggle. These wounds, even by today's standards, would be difficult to survive...I can only imagine the difficult days ahead, long that they may be. And I wonder if the boar just happened to be on the path, or were there 'unseen' hands at work????

I'm left wondering about the root causes for running the police roadblock, and my thoughts twigged not to Matt being Tyler's father, but Tyson and Matt involved in 'risky', illegal or romantic shenanigans as the reason for fleeing the scene as it were... Quite a few surprises in this chapter to say the least...Freddie and Arvid putting paid to the old saw that good things come in small packages, I never saw the Peter and Vince relationship coming either... And to the day cows would figure so prominently, cause that's how I see Venetia, a bothersome, nosy old cow....can't wait for the luncheon, perhaps Peter could go as an uninvited guest.... That all three of the Philpott gentlemen lack the fashion/decorating gene is hilarious!!!

Wow, another chapter with much to unpack...Alex, Sarah and Billy, not to mention woodchucks...I've got a lot of thoughts and the are as follows...

Losing a family member is never easy in most cases, as we saw with Bart and dealing with the passing of his father. That aside it is such a concrete reminder of how finite time is, and the importance of slowing down and making sure time isn't rushing by. Take time to savior the moments that make you happy and strive to make new ones. I'm the last in my family and it was a hard lesson for me to learn at first. Take the time you need to be where you need to be, we'll be here when you can. Know that your readers understand. Like others have noted, you have my condolences, and we'll see you when you come back! Godspeed my friend!
