To me, one of the differences is that Trace has read a book or two with comprehension...as to the harpy, who knows, this isn't an aside or casting aspersions as to the rest of the community.... So sadly true It would be poetic justice if the house were in Dad's name. If it were me, I'd file a restraining order against the wife, get custody of Cody and kick her backside out along with Weasley!!! I once asked an employer who was out of his mind with unreasonable demands," Was he just an asshole, or was he born that way?"

The meeting with the genetic contributors isn't gonna go well, so my gut tells me.... Colt is an enigma along with Davin and Gavin, I almost called them Huey, Dewey, and Louie.....

Spot on!! I would love to know where the goodness in Trace and Ceila's hearts comes from. I'm in love with these two, truly, they are our better angels. And the dichotomy between Joel's parents and them is stunning' Joel...I know the hole you see yourself in is seemingly impossible to climb out of, but you must know deep inside that not all folks are like your parents. It is baby steps, let them help you...talk to them!!!

Somehow I missed this story growing to my chagrin....I am so looking forward to seeing just where this goes. And kudos to completing before posting, there are so many unfinished great stories out there!!!!

I'm glad they are settling in and having the time to paint... I think they need a class in healthy cooking, all that bacon grease is a cholesterol bullet to their coronary systems.... serving up plates of fried eggs and potatoes cooked in bacon grease.

What he said... What does the person Caleb stayed with have over Caleb???? Is it possible that Caleb's host for the night killed Caleb's father??? When does Judy get back into town???? I'm gonna go out here on a limb, this "deal" won't last any longer and possibly break before Killian's next car accident!!! "Third, and most importantly, you'll never, ever do anything alone or without speaking to me first." I started to argue that I'd never do that, but then I remembered how many times I'd acted without thinking things through in the past, and how close I'd come to getting killed because of it. Maybe a little check and balance wasn't a bad idea. "Deal."

Continued use of Kilroy's phone is worrisome. Cell phones are tracked not only for usage, but also for your location throughout the day/night for marketing purposes. Even so, an in-person meeting scheduled over the phone is problematic as well. The meeting between Kilroy and Hansen proves to be another long night with happy endings for both. I am curious as to the cause of Kilroy's brother as well, and very interesting to learn a bit more about his family!
